We had a blast. The location was perfect and accommodations were as described. Big thank you for the use of the kayaks, paddle boards, corn hole boards and firewood.

Great porch and family room. Excellent views of the lake. Host was very responsive to any texts. Lots of places for folks to sleep and hang out. Dock area/swimming was great too.

Screened deck was perfect. We had heavy rain and that deck made it enjoyable. The dock and water was great. Having kayaks and paddles boards were great. Fire pit area got a lot of use. Kitchen was great too. Plenty of room for us all. Don’t need to bring chairs. They have all you need. Beds were comfy. Would book again.

So glad the screened deck came in handy during the rain and that the dock, water access, kayaks, and paddle boards all added to the fun. It's great to hear the fire pit area got plenty of use and that the kitchen and beds worked out well for the whole group. We put a lot of thought into having everything guests need on hand, so it means a lot to know that made things easier. Thanks for sharing such a thorough and thoughtful review, it truly helps future guests know what to expect.

We liked most things about this family friendly property during our four-night stay. This included comfortable beds, the kayaks and paddle boards, the fire ring, the bedroom and bathroom set up, the screened porch, the sandy bottom near the shoreline, the loons we saw, the hamlet of Schroon Lake only four miles away, lots of tables couches and chairs, and the kitchen layout. The biggest disappointment was that we shared the cabin with several mice who left their calling cards in kitchen drawers and under one of the beds. Occasionally some of the truck traffic on the state road was noisy. Overall, we had a great time.

We're so glad you enjoyed the beds, the kayaks and paddle boards, the fire ring, the screened porch, the sandy shoreline, the loons, and being so close to the hamlet of Schroon Lake. We're sorry about the mice you encountered — we have an exterminator coming to the property to address it, and we're constantly cleaning and setting traps, though rodents are a persistent challenge in the Adirondack woods this time of year. As for the truck traffic, having a house right on the lake sometimes means dealing with noise from the state road. We're happy to hear you had a great time overall.
