Guests will enjoy a quiet, hilly residential area with wide, pleasant views and the possibility of lovely walks along low traffic streets lined with villas and gardens. Nature lovers will be delighted by the birdsong that brightens every morning.
Inside the house, there are two beautiful, high quality single rooms — perfect for two guests, each with their own cozy bedroom, sharing a bathroom and a fridge.
Outdoors, the home is surrounded by a charming garden featuring typical Australian trees, Italian citrus plants, and garden beds with healing herbs.
Breakfast is served in a spacious dining room, warmed by a wood stove during winter.
The classic Italian style furnishings include an upright piano and a small multilingual library.
Under the outdoor patio, guests will find a smoker stove, a ping pong table, and a table area.
Every corner of the house has been designed to be comfortable, welcoming, and enjoyable to explore.
Pets are welcome, as long as their owner do not leave them alone in the bedrooms or loose in the garden. Outside the property there are plenty of free green areas for everyone.

Originally from Trieste, Italy, she lived for many years in Milan, where she worked as the publisher of an international magazine. She is an architect and translator, fluent in English, Italian, French, and Spanish. Her passions include music, art, art history, antique restoration, and gardening.
She previously collaborated with “A Friend in Milan,” a guided tour organization, and she still enjoys accompanying guests on cultural city tours.
Now happily settled in Collingwood Park, near Ipswich — an area known for its beautiful Queenslander style homes — she looks forward to welcoming guests from all over the world.
As an InterNations Consul for Arts & Culture, she loves creating opportunities for cultural exchange with her new Australian guests.
