We enjoyed our time at the cottage. Pros - It was a really short walk to the beach. It seemed like a really new kitchen and recent bathroom update, nice flooring, even a new toaster and coffee maker. The host Richard was very responsive and nice. Very close to a busy restaurant, a good one though, so that might be considered both a pro and a con. Truth is I spent most of my time enjoying the beach, and it was lovely and quiet this time of year. Everyone we met, including the neighbours on both sides, were super nice. Cons-no screen on the patio doors and the deck was kind of rough. No fan in the bathroom and window won't open and no curtains on the entrance door or kitchen windows..felt a bit exposed. Also, the cleaning was certainly not impeccable, not gross, but not that thorough. As someone who has been doing commercial cleaning for a decade, I saw several opportunities for improvement. All of that being said, I would consider renting it again in the future.
