The Space:
Experience the best of coastal living at Santai, a spacious two-storey retreat just 600 metres from the pristine shores of Bribie Island. Thoughtfully designed for relaxation and family getaways, this inviting home accommodates up to eight guests and offers generous living spaces, just moments from the beach, cafes, golf club, surf club and Woorim’s main street. Step inside to the open-plan ground floor, where the modern kitchen and dining area overlook the sparkling pool and outdoor entertaining space. The kitchen features everything you need, including a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, electric stovetop, and oven, with a dining table for eight. To the left, the cosy living room invites you to unwind on one of three comfortable sofas, enjoy your favourite shows on the smart TV, and stay cool with ducted air-conditioning and ceiling fans.
To the right of the kitchen is a spacious games room featuring a convertible pool and ping pong table for hours of fun. Step outside to the pool area and cool off on warm days, or gather around the undercover patio for alfresco dining with seating for six and a BBQ. Powder Room: Conveniently located next to the office, with a toilet and handbasin.
Laundry: The European-style laundry is concealed within the games room cupboard and features a front-loading washing machine and dryer.
Upstairs:
Bedroom 2: Furnished with a comfortable queen-sized bed, wardrobe, air-conditioning unit, and ceiling fan.

If you wander another 400m up the beach, you’ll arrive at Woorim’s patrolled beach and surf club. Everything you need is close by, from local cafes and restaurants to the IGA for your daily essentials. With parks, playgrounds, golf course/club, and convenient boat ramps nearby, you’ll have endless opportunities for fishing, boating, golf, picnics or simply relaxing and exploring during your getaway. Getting Around:
Santai Sands is perfectly positioned for exploring Woorim on foot. Just 600m from the shore, you’ll be within walking distance of the beach, cafes, restaurants, the surf club and golf club. While we recommend having a car to explore the wider island, public transport is also on your doorstep, with a bus stop in front of the home (Arcadia Ave near Heron St), linking you to Woorim and Bongaree.
Other Things to Note:
*We DO NOT take schoolies bookings* *No guests under the age of 20 travelling independently, fine if accompanied by family (ie. young adults apart from a family booking are always fine).
*Pet-friendly for dogs - upon application, a $50 pet fee applies. Please reach out to us for pre-approval before booking. Please note we do not accept cats.
*Smoking is strictly prohibited at this home. We kindly ask people who smoke to smoke outside away from the windows and doors and to dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.
*This home is in a residential community with neighbours in close proximity. We have quiet hours on Bribie Island after 9pm. We ask that you also generally respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum generally.
*To ensure a smooth check-in, all guests complete a simple online form prior to arrival. This is a requirement of all our guests that stay with us, access to our home will only be provided after the completion of our form.
*Electric vehicle charging: If you plan on charging your electric car while on holiday, we would appreciate it if you could first consider using the designated charging stations available at nearby shopping centres and public locations. These are great alternatives and help us manage our power usage. If you need to charge your electric car at our home, please reach out for pre-approval beforehand.
