Beautiful cabin

Very pretty spot. Cabin is cozy and met all our needs. It was easy to find and not a long drive from downtown Traverse City. Lots to do and see close by. Only thing missing was some chairs by the dock to sit and watch the water!

There are two folding chairs provided on the patio and two other comfy chairs by the chimenea that guests are welcome to move to the dock or anywhere else. The dock is too narrow to accommodate Adirondack chairs or something similar, so we provide the other movable chairs instead. Clean cabin with all necessities. Bed and futon were comfortable. Didn't see a TV though that was listed, but we didn't need one and enjoyed watching the river instead. Great location, close to drive to Traverse City and lots of lakes and parks to enjoy away from the city. Very nice host, and we would definitely stay again!

You were terrific guests. I'm very sorry if our listing showed a TV was included in the cabin. After seeing your review, I checked our listing and it appears as though somehow the TV box was checked although I've been very careful to make sure we never make false claims, so I'm confused how that could have happened. However, I did notice the description mentions there's no TV and that the cabin comes with high speed internet so guests can bring a laptop and stream their favorite shows if they like. Regardless, we apologize for any misrepresentation. We're happy you enjoyed the cabin and appreciated the "river nature channel" out the large picture window. It's mesmerizing! Relaxing and Beautiful stay

We had a great stay. The view from the main room is amazing, and it is a very quiet and peaceful spot. This was everything we were looking for to have a quiet and relaxing weekend. It is also very close to Traverse City and area outdoor adventures.

Relaxing long weekend

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! The property was beautiful and the river was tranquil. It was easy to get to Old Mission Peninsula and downtown Traverse City. We will definitely return!

46th Wedding Anniversary

A perfect spot to spend a couple of quiet, restful days. Front window pane presented a beautiful view of River….only a dozen steps from cabin. Everything was neat and clean and ready for us when we arrived. A short drive to Traverse City and other spots to enjoy fine eating and other great scenery. A big thanks to our host for help making this a speacial time!

Our favorite part of the property was the deck and dock that extend into the river. Although there isn’t a lot of room on the property to explore, we went went up the road and enjoyed miles of hiking trails. The property is very peaceful and quiet and everything about the cabin was just as advertised. Would absolutely stay there again!

Wonderful River Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay here and meeting Tricia. She was very friendly and helpful. The cabin came with all the amenities we needed. It's location along the river is beautiful. We were close enough to stores and restaurants to not be inconvenienced. Trips to the nearby lighthouses, state and national recreation areas could easily be made.

River love

Sister’s birthday, she wanted a little cabin by a river-it was perfect. Great location for exploring all of UP NORTH. Futon not very comfortable and I couldn’t open it but didn’t really need to. We didn’t cook but everything you need is there. Will definitely go again. Loved the book, too.
