Dowtown Escape
Capri condo building is truly the place to be in Traverse City. Walk to all the downtown shops, theaters, restaurants and Clinch Park beach on West Grand Traverse Bay. Whether this a romantic getaway or a family vacation, our condo is ideally located for visiting all that Traverse City and Northern Michigan have to offer. In between the Leelanau and Old Mission Peninsula wine trails and a 40 minute drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes, you could ask for a better home base.

Parking Instructions
Parking at condo has limited free spots, if full please use public parking deck on the west side of condo buildings.
FREE overnight parking on ground level of parking deck. Enter around from the west side of structure behind Bradys Bar. FREE overnight parking from 6pm-8am and all day Sunday.
Paid parking in structure; enter off 8th Street, is $20 max per 24 hour period or $1.25/hour.
Exit lanes accept only credit cards, but cash accepted in NE Lake Avenue tower pay device.

Excellent location for walking everywhere. It snowed everyday we were there, and the sidewalks and parking lot was kept as clear as it could be, which was greatly appreciated. Building is very quiet, even on NYE! The condo was exactly as pictured and described. The only possible improvement that I could suggest is to install a room darkening shade in the bedroom. Thanks for a very comfortable stay!

Walk to Everything Traverse City

The condo was very clean and well maintained. Everything TC is within walking distance; water, bars, restaurants, breweries, shopping…everything. This is our second stay at this condo complex and have really enjoyed ourselves both times. Very comfortable and convenient.

Good location and very nice unit. Easy walk to downtown. Parking not super convenient and we had to pay 20/day in ramp right next door. But would stay there again.

Perfect Location!

Short walk to Front Street or the open space for the cherry festival. Very quiet and clean. Good size bathroom and shower. The washer and dryer in the unit was great. Nice little kitchen if you wanted to cook. We used the coffee maker. Great communication with the host!

Excellent location, convenient to downtown. The kitchen was well equipped. We had a wonderful vacation. The beds were comfortable, however no room darkening shades.

Anniversary Trip

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. There are 2 things I'd like to point out for future visitors; I should have read the description closer but there was no shampoo, conditioner, or lotion which surprised me since we've stayed at a lot of rentals like this and the basics are typically supplied. Those things are shown in one of the listing pictures so I just assumed? That is on me, not the host, but just plan on bringing your own toiletries. The second thing is there is no room-darkening window coverings, just privacy screens. If you're not sensitive to light when you're trying to sleep that won't be a problem, but there is a light right over the bedroom window so it's pretty bright in the room even at night. The kitchen was well stocked as far as cookware. Everything, again, was very clean and comfortable. Lots of extra blankets and pillows for the bedroom which was a nice touch. We'd stay again. The location is great. Parking was a little tight with our truck but it would be no issue for a typical sedan - we visited during a blizzard so we drove the 4x4. Great food spots included The Omelet Shop and Barrio Tacos - both an easy and safe walk. Easy walk to the lake and shopping as well.

Great space & location

My conference hotel was fully booked so I needed another place to stay, and discovered I vastly preferred this rental unit to the conference hotel! Very clean, many thoughtful extras, and the location was easily walkable to downtown TC. I even caught a show at the community theater right across the street! The only advice I'd give other travelers is to bring a sleep mask; the light-permeating shades are a necessity during the day for good daylight (as a basement-level apartment, anyone walking by can look in, so you want them closed). But at night, the outside lighting from the parking lot and walkways means it's not super-dark. No other issues, and I would happily book this space again if I travel to TC in the future!

Great stay!

This was such a great location with a short walk to town. Michael was great with communication and made it so easy to check in. The condo was clean and well stocked. Would book here again.

My wife Dustine and I settled in the Traverse City area in 2005. Dustine is a native of Columbus, Ohio while I was raised in Sudbury, Ontario Canada. We have two boys, who love to enjoy all that this area provides. We are avid golfers, beach goers, skiers in the winter and are part of the Traverse City Curling Club! We never miss a chance to explore the dunes and all the other amazing spots we are surrounded by. We are excited to host guests at our growing rental business while we still operate our health care business in downtown Traverse City. It is my family's pleasure and honor to welcome all types of guests, from around the world.
