It started out rough and only got rougher. Sent an email & text before heading out asking a question & never heard back. Got there & code was wrong. Took several texts & a call to get in. Got in at 5:30, had not been cleaned. At 8:30, we texted to see if it was ready. Were told “At a concert “. AC on the lower level struggled the whole time to get below 75, even though it was set at 69. Everything needs to be dusted. Ceiling fans and the kitchen light coated in dust and grease. The outside of the refrigerator is filthy. There are only two glass drinking cups, no can opener (the one there wouldn’t penetrate the lid to open it). One of the towels that I went to use had at least three old blood stains. Sheets are no longer white, but very dingy. The only reason we slept on them is because we took them from the dryer, when we went to make the bed, so we knew they were washed. The cleaning crew forgot to take the dirty pillow cases off the pillows so we had to wash and dry them late at night in order to go to bed. We chose not to use the hot tub because it looks cloudy and smells heavily of chemicals. The front rocking chairs are a nice touch, but they too need to be cleaned in order to sit on them. When I told them of these issues I was told, “We are hoping to get a better cleaning crew, so the next guests won’t complain.” I would not recommend this cabin unless they provide current photos.
