Fortuna Bushland Retreat 20 min from Noosaville

The property is part of Landcare Noosa and Land for Wildlife, reflecting our deep commitment to caring for and preserving the natural bushland that surrounds us. You'll be sharing your stay with native birds, kangaroos, and other local wildlife.Welcome to 'Fortuna', a lovely family home located in Verrierdale and only a 20 minute drive to beautiful Noosaville. This bushland retreat is the perfect location to escape the hustle and bustle of busy life and take yourself back to nature and stillness. The property is mostly laid out over one level (some internal low sets of steps) and enjoys an open plan kitchen and living area which flows out onto an undercover spacious deck with alfresco dining and outdoor lounge area. Enjoy the beautiful lush gardens with all that nature provides whilst enjoying an afternoon glass of wine or an early BBQ on the deck.

Enjoy quiet cosy evenings in on front of the fire place watching movies on the smart TV in the comfortable lounge. The gourmet kitchen with all mod cons and coffee machine ensures you have everything at your fingertips should you choose to cook during your holiday.

The Master bedroom retreat with walk in robe, spacious ensuite and access to the outdoor deck is located just off the living room.
The second bedroom comprises a Queen bed.
The Third bedroom has been set up as an office with a pull out sofa that will be made up upon request. (We require 72 hours notice to make up the sofa bed.)
Both the second and third bedroom are also located off the main living area of the house.
There is parking outside for up to 3 cars.

The cottage located behind the house is permanently rented and not for guest use. Please respect their privacy

This home is pet friendly for small dogs and cats a $100 pet fee per pet per stay. The garden is not fenced. The neighbours have cows and horses so please ensure your cats are indoor only and your pets does not disturb their peace

Wildlife & Nature
You may spot kookaburras, cockatoos, rosellas, kangaroos, wallabies and occasionally pademelons. Dawn and dusk are the best times for birdwatching.

We are located in a very quiet rural area surrounded by nature. Be aware that snakes, goannas, spiders and other wildlife may be present - give them space and do not disturb. No refunds will be given should you encounter any of the wildlife including bugs of any kind. These are part of our special environment
