The Space:
Discover the epitome of beachside luxury at Casa al mare, a spacious two-storey retreat just one street back from the stunning Woorim Beach. Thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and versatility, this modern holiday home offers two fully self-contained levels, is perfect for two families or groups of friends who want to enjoy plenty of space, just moments from the beach, vibrant cafes, and Woorim's main street. Stay connected with high-speed WiFi throughout the property, perfect for streaming, remote work, or sharing your holiday moments.
As you enter the ground floor, the welcoming hallway leads to a lovely open-plan living area. Sink into the comfy chaise sofa, stream your favourite shows on the smart TV, or keep cool with ducted air-conditioning and ceiling fans. The adjacent kitchen and dining nook seats four and is fitted with a fridge, stovetop, microwave, kettle, and toaster. This level also includes three beautifully styled bedrooms, a bathroom, and a laundry for added convenience.
Continuing upstairs, discover vaulted ceilings that create an airy, expansive ambiance. The generous open-plan living space seamlessly extends to the spacious undercover deck, your private indoor/outdoor sanctuary. Step through wide sliding glass doors to the undercover deck, here you can lounge in the outdoor seating, fire up the BBQ, and take in the leafy treetop views, the perfect spot to relax or share a meal together on the alfresco dining table for 8. Inside, you can relax on the L-shaped plush sofa, enjoy movie nights on the large smart TV. Guests will have access to the entire double storey home along with space to park 3 cars in the secure garage, there is space to park 2 cars on the driveway behind the front gate and 1 boat in the garage. There is also free street parking available. Guests can bring along the boogie boards and a beach wagon at the home for added convenience and fun. After a day in the surf, rinse off in the refreshing outdoor shower located in the private backyard, perfect for keeping sand out of the house.

Just 140m from the beach, this home is perfectly positioned for seaside living. Wander another 300m along the sand and you’ll arrive at Woorim’s patrolled beach and surf club. Everything you need is close by, from local cafes and restaurants to the IGA for your daily essentials. With parks, playgrounds, and convenient boat ramps nearby, you’ll have endless opportunities for fishing, boating, picnics or simply relaxing and exploring during your getaway. Key areas include:
- Woorim main street is 300m away
- Bongaree Jetty & Pumicestone Passage is 7 minute drive
- Sandstone Point Hotel is a 13 minute drive
- Bribie Island Central Shopping Centre is a 10 minute drive
- Brisbane airport is a 60-90 minute drive
- Australia Zoo is a 50 minute drive
Getting Around:
Casa al mare is perfectly positioned for exploring Woorim on foot. Just one street back from the shore, you’ll be within walking distance of the beach, cafes, restaurants, the surf club, and a hotel. While we recommend having a car to explore the wider island, public transport is also closeby, with bus services just a 4-minute (350m) walk to Jacana Ave, linking you to Bellara, Bongaree, and Banksia Beach.
Other Things to Note:
*We DO NOT take schoolies bookings* *No guests under the age of 20 travelling independently, fine if accompanied by family (ie. young adults apart from a family booking are always fine).
*Pet-friendly for dogs, upon application - 2 maximum, a $50 per pet fee applies. Please reach out to us for pre-approval before booking. Please note we do not accept cats.
*Smoking is strictly prohibited at this home. We kindly ask smokers to use the backyard areas and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.
*This home is in a residential community with neighbours in close proximity. We have quiet hours on Bribie Island after 9pm. We ask that you also generally respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum generally.
*To ensure a smooth check-in, all guests complete a simple online form prior to arrival. This is a requirement of all our guests that stay with us, access to our home will only be provided after the completion of our form.
*Electric vehicle charging: If you plan on charging your electric car while on holiday, we would appreciate it if you could first consider using the designated charging stations available at nearby shopping centres and public locations.
