Nestled in a quiet backwater of Capel you'll find Kookaburra corner. Kookaburra corner is a stand alone peaceful, private home with its own fenced garden overlooking the trees.
Kookaburra corner consists of an open planned lounge, with reverse cycle air conditioning and ceiling fan, a dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The large bedroom has a comfy queen bed, ceiling fan and views overlooking your garden. In the bathroom you will find the shower and a washing machine for your convenience. Towels including beach Towels are provided.
Outside in the garden there is a decked area and BBQ where you can sit in the evening or with your morning cuppa and watch the local birdlife.
Kookaburra corner is located a short 15 minute walk over a picturesque bridge to the country town of Capel, where you will find Cafes, supermarket, award winning butchers, bottle shop, Tavern (closed for renovations) and take away outlets.
Capel is a 10-minute drive from the stunning beaches of Peppermint grove and Forest Beach, It is halfway between Busselton and Bunbury and ideally placed for the Margaret River region and all the Southwest has to offer.

Clean and comfortable stay with a very polite and friendly host. The place was well maintained and easy to settle into. The only downside was the lack of a microwave, but overall a pleasant experience.

Andy & I are originally from the UK and have lived in WA for over 20 years. We moved to Capel 2 years ago and are currently semi retired. We love living in the Southwest and enjoy all it has to offer. We have 2 very friendly Airedale terriers, George & Hadley, that have no access to Kookaburra corner but will probably give you a welcome bark when you arrive at the main gate. Our favourite pastime is spending time at the beach or on the ocean in our boat.

Why they chose this property

Capel is well situated between Bunbury and Busselton and only an hours drive from Margaret River. The stunning beaches of Peppermint Grove and Forest Beach are only 10 minutes away, it's not uncommon for us to be the only people on the beach.
Our property is on an acre block in a whisper quiet area. We have lots of trees and a creek in the winter. The trees attract lots of birds and ringtail possums.

What makes this property unique

Kookaburra Corner is located to the rear of our acre block. It is completely private and not overlooked except by the birds and the neighbouring Alpacas.
You will have your own fenced garden with BBQ and deck to sit on and relax in the peace of Capel.
