Welcome to Mātai Beach House, a modern 5-bedroom home in the heart of Minnie Water. Nestled in one of the region’s best-kept secrets, this spacious, family-friendly retreat is the perfect escape into nature’s playground.

Wake up to breathtaking ocean views from the expansive balcony, ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks. With an open-plan design, stylish interiors, and a fully equipped kitchen, enjoy comfort and relaxation after a day of exploring.

Welcome to Mātai, a modern, newly built two-storey home designed for comfort, relaxation, and unforgettable ocean views.

On the upper level, you’ll find a spacious open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a 12-seater dining table perfect for family feasts, and a cosy lounge with a TV. Sliding doors open onto a generous balcony where you can fire up the BBQ, enjoy alfresco meals, and soak in sweeping views of the ocean.

The upstairs bedrooms include a luxurious King room, a stylish Queen room, and a fun bunk room that sleeps four — plus two bathrooms for convenience.

Downstairs offers a private Queen room, a twin room, another bathroom, and a fully equipped laundry, making it ideal for families or groups.

Step outside and you’ll discover a large backyard complete with an outdoor shower — perfect after a beach day — and a wide lawn that invites lazy afternoons, picnics, or a friendly game of cricket.

Whether you’re gathering with family, enjoying time with friends, or simply unwinding by the sea, Mātai offers the perfect coastal escape.

Guests have access to the entire home.

A house key will be provided on arrival.

At check-in, you will be provided with our property manager's phone number, if you have any questions or need help during your stay.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the remote location of Minnie Water, we are unable to provide a linen service. Guests are kindly asked to bring their own sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, hand towels, and bath mats.

For your convenience, pillows, blankets, and tea towels are provided.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
QUIET HOURS POLICY: Quiet hours are STRICTLY from 9pm - 7am. The balcony must be vacated by 9pm, NO NOISE AFTER 9PM .
STRICT NO PARTIES, NO GATHERINGS POLICY. All guests MUST be added to the reservation request at the time of booking. No additional guests or visitors.
