The picture of the full kitchen on the website was the kitchen for the family that lived upstairs only. The place we stayed was a basement apartment, which was not stated on the VRBO site. The microwave had cooked crumbs in it. The dish drainer was dirty and had a dirty coffee cup in it. The dishes were sparse, but there were plenty of silverware.There were no glasses, but did have 4 champagne glasses. Towels were ok, but there was only one washcloth (with a big hole in it). The floors, bedrooms, and living room were clean. The host was a nice man and we hate to leave such a negative review, but we didn’t even stay the last night.

I am writing to confirm that the photo of the kitchen on our website is accurate and reflects the listing for our bright and cozy 1,200 sq. ft. unit with 9' ceilings. We have updated the property description and hired new cleaning staff. The kitchen is fully stocked for four guests, and we have updated the amenities section of the advertisement to include the location of additional towels in the utility room. While the recent issue was a one-off situation, the unit is fully prepared to welcome future guests.

I would not stay here again.The owners live upstairs from the basement rental unit.Pros: Jean Claude let us in an hour early and there were two parking spaces available.Cons: The basement unit was loud in the middle of the night and throughout the night. We could hear walking upstairs throughout the night. We could hear a wheeled chair rolling around upstairs.There was no coffee machine. A simple French press would help.No ice cube trays in the freezer.The towels are old.For the price, we expected more basic amenities.
