You are right in the heart of an amazing neighborhood. Good vibes, safe and people were friendly. We went in mid-November so there was the Rossio Christmas market 5 minute walk away. It was just what I was hoping for. If you've watched Somebody Feed Phil on Netflix, you can hit up a lot of those spots by a short Uber/Bolt ride. There is something to do in every direction 10-15 minute walk away. Joao was very friendly, helpful and thorough with directions to enter and leave the apartment. Had a great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Location is perfect for train, metro, and walking.

Easy to communicate with host and his instruction were very clear including photos of lock boxes, etc. The apt was spacious and had a well equipped kitchen. Will definitely recommend and hope to be back soon!

Wonderful location. My daughter and I had a wonderful week in Lisbon. The apartment was everything we needed and very close to shops, restaurants and public transport. We booked a day trip to visit Sintra, Cascais and other local spots from a hotel which is literally two minutes away which is really convenient if you don't want to drive. Public transport is close by and easy to use. We went to Cascais again and the Sporting Lisbon stadium to metro and train. Communication with Joao was very good and he replied to any questions I had about local transport etc. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, great apartment

We appreciated that this apartment was just steps away from so much. The elevator was helpful, especially for our luggage. Beds were comfortable. The check in process was thoroughly explained and easy to understand. We would recommend this property to friends.

Second bedroom had no storage space for suitcases and bathroom was very small. Balcony was not utilized at all as it was tiny. Beds were not comfortable. Very dusty under the bed

Wonderful location, great host!

We were here for several weeks and had a wonderful time! The location was excellent and we felt safe, enjoyed amazing food at every corner close by. We had some issues with the water but Joao did his best to help and was very fast to respond anytime we had a question. We loved the living room with the windows opening to the streets below. Lovely spot.

The best location!! So close to public transportation and also walkable to lots of sights and restaurants etc. The main master bedroom and bathroom are nicely sized and plenty of closet/counter space. No storage in the second bedroom and smallish second bathroom so plan for that. The host is great at communicating. We had no issues in the apt. It was stocked with plenty of toilet paper and shower gel. Kitchen had coffee and paper towels and laundry detergent. There is a market just around the corner to grab milk and wine etc. We had a great week in Lisbon and are already missing our time there.

Lisbon fantastic break

Great property in fabulous location. ! Joao was a great host, accommodating our arrival and departure times, very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this flat , kitchen well furnished and all mod cons included. Restaurants in walking distance and so much to see in Lisbon.

Wonderful!!! Five star property.

The property is wonderful - just as advertised - spacious - clean - traditional decoration, everything you could need for a great stay! Communication with owner was easy and quick. Location is excellent - central to all attractions and many restaurants. The owner let us drop off luggage and even check in a little early - it was appreciated after a long travel day! Don’t hesitate to book.

Wonderful location and apartment

Our family of 4 loved this apartment. It had plenty of space and the location was wonderful. Even though it was in the heart of the city, it was quiet and peaceful at night. The authentic touches from the original building were lovely. It was clean and had good amenities and communication with the owner was great. I highly recommend!

The Best Apartment in Lisbon!

We really, really loved our stay. The apartment is very clean, has tons of character, is beautifully decorated, is well-equipped and perfectly located with tons of attractions and many destinations being walkable. The host is extremely responsive and accommodating. I was sad to leave. It is a very special place, and we feel lucky to have found it!!

Great location in Lisbon

Four adults stayed 6 nights in Lisbon. The instructions were detailed and the apartment was exactly as described. The location was within walking distance of most sights. We only needed an Uber to reach Belem Tower. The apartment was very comfortable, and met all of our needs. There were many restaurants near us and the harbor and pedestrian streets were a few blocks away. One bedroom was a little smaller with limited closet space but the larger bedroom had plenty of closet room to share. We liked the secure building access and the elevator. We would stay again if returning to Lisbon.

Big apartment, great location.

Apartment was big, plenty of room. Full kitchen and having a laundry machine and dishwasher was very convenient, especially for a long stay. Location can’t be beat. There’s a nice little cafe, snack shop literally across the street, and it’s very centrally located, close to commercial plaza, trains, squares, restaurants, the castle... Also, the host was responsive with any questions I had. A couple of notes, we did stay for a week, so having a couple more towels would have been nice. And a full length mirror also can be helpful. But great stay, would for sure recommend.

Great apartment perfectly located for enjoying Lisbon

We loved this apartment for so many reasons. Most of the streets in the area are easily walkable (even for people like me with arthritic knees), and we were close to Figuero and Rossio squares as well as the beautiful promenade of Rua Augusta that ends at Praca Comercio, a gorgeous square near the river. Grocery stores are also close by as well as a local butcher shop. Though there was street noise during the day, it was quiet at night as bars and restaurants are at least a block away and the apartment windows and shutters are very good. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped and attractive. Sincere thanks to the host: instructions for check-in were clear and we had ample information to find everything and operate the appliances. Note that though there is an elevator in the building, it takes you to mid staircase, so one has to go up or down about 10 stairs depending on where you choose to stop for your floor.

The apartment was lovely and in a convenient location for us. The water in the bathroom sinks was barely lukewarm. I texted the manager and he said no one had ever complained about it. The shower water turned out to be quite warm and sufficient, but I have never seen that phenomenon before, that water from one receptacle in a room differed in temperature from another. The manager then contacted me the following morning to say that he had a technician prepared to walk him through repairs if needed and wanted permission to enter the apartment. Unfortunately we were already out for the day and I did not respond until evening. I apologized, but I never heard another word from the manager for our entire 5 night stay.

Excellent, comfortable apartment in a great location!

Joao’s listing was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. The apartment was large and had everything we needed (cooking supplies, washer/dryer) to stay comfortably for a week. Joao is a great host, very communicative, and made us feel taken care of. Would absolutely stay here again!
