Located at Palm Island Resort on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast. No bridges or causeways to the island exist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting.
The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island.
Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.
Enjoy access to one of the 5 heated pools, plus hot tub and gas BBQ grills.
Tennis courts available for play and always complimentary.
Our recreation center, Coconuts, offers a variety of rentals to include golf carts, bicycles, kayaks and beach umbrellas.
A full service concierge can also arrange for everything from massages to fishing charters. Join a complimentary water aerobics class, nature walk or yoga on the beach when scheduled. Whether you wish to spend your time with us on the go or taking it slow, you’re sure to enjoy your new Memories at the Speed of Old Florida.

Ocean front view was incredible. This was the perfect quiet getaway that we’re were looking for. We will be coming back to this island for sure. It was worth every penny if you like quiet peaceful relaxation. The water was amazing, staff were all responsive and attentive. 10/10

Unexpected Delight

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found PIR online and took a chance only to be unexpectedly delighted upon arrival. Our kids thought arriving by ferry was super cool and the staff was kind and welcoming when we checked in. Our villa was lovely and we all enjoyed our meals at Rum Bay. Our weather wasnt great but we still loved shelling and shark-tooth hunting despite the clouds and rain.

Very pleased! We got off to a bumpy start with check in because we came in late (10pm). The office closes at 3pm so we weren't sure what to do. They leave your check in package with the guard at the gate (when you get off the ferry). The ferry does stop running at 10pm (Monday-Thursday) 11pm Friday and 12pm Saturday (starts at 630am every day). The house doesn't have many reviews so I wanted to give it a good one (the first time I've ever written a review). Our stay was excellent. Everyone was very nice. We ate dinner every day at the Rum Bay restaurant and the food was very good (with good portion sizes). The house was spotless!, pretty and comfortable. Very comfortable beds and great showers (I'll miss the water pressure). The beach is right there just over beautiful dunes. We didn't find left over beach floats/playthings so bring those with you. The water was warm and clear and no heavy grass/seaweed. I found lots of sand dollars. I highly recommend this property and hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
