Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. My family and I had a great time at this location. It was close to the beach and you can walk downtown to all the stores. The house is real cute and the pool was great. We had one problem and they sent someone over within 15 minutes. I would definitely encourage anyone to stay here; we will definitely rebook this next year.

Check in was okay, our code didn’t work but they fixed it immediately when I called. we noticed a couple things upon entering. Some dirt/stains on the stairs and the bath mat was very dirty. The pool wasn’t fully cleaned, had clumps of hair and unrecognizable things floating in it. There was multiple bags of garbage left from previous renters in the driveway (that smelled terrible in the 90 degree heat) and they had been torn into by animals, also both garbage cans were filled leaving us nowhere to place our garbage throughout our stay. When we woke the first morning we found live roaches in the upstairs bedroom and by the dining room table. I sent a message to the host regarding all my concerns, I received a generic response back but no personal reply. They did send pest control out the following afternoon but did not inform us beforehand. We did not see any more roaches during our stay, but even seeing one is one too many. They sent someone the night before we checked out to put the old garbage at the front of the driveway by the road which then blocked a portion of the driveway. So we dealt with the mess and stench our entire stay. I personally believe a previous renters garbage should be removed entirely from the property and not become the next renters problem. I could excuse a few minor inconveniences, but the garbage, roaches and their lack of communication and lack of a personal response was for me unacceptable.

Shannon , We do apologize for all the issues you found at Into the Mystic, we will go back to the home and make sure the cleaning issues you found in the home and pool area are taken care of . We do have to deal with Palmetto bugs here in Florida especially in the summer heat they do get in , they actually live in the Palmetto bushes which are every where , properties do have quarterly Pest Contol so we wil call them and have them take a look. The trash has been an issue , it's not that it wasn't taken out it is because trash is picked up once a week, and sometimes we have 2 reservations in a week and that can produce a lot of trash , we are working on a solution for this issue. I also want to apologize about communication , if you received a generic response that tells me it must of been after hours. But you are right someone should of reached out the following day .
