One of our favourite spaces is the sunroom overlooking the water, the perfect in between spot where kids come in sandy and sunscreen covered after the beach, while others curl up with a book or simply take in the lake views. Off of the sunroom is another cozy bedroom with a window overlooking the back deck and lakefront setting.

The main floor primary bedroom is pink in all the best ways, full of vintage charm and cozy lakehouse character. This spacious retreat features a wicker desk, lounge chair, full ensuite bathroom and large sliding doors that open up to beautiful views of the water, making it the perfect place to wake up slowly with the sound of the waves in the background.

Downstairs you’ll find even more space to spread out, including a retro styled living room with a bar area perfect for evening cocktails, cards and good conversation long after the sun goes down. There is also a thoughtfully designed children’s room featuring colourful artwork throughout, two bunk beds and its own half bathroom, creating the perfect little hideaway for younger guests during the stay.

Step outside onto the large wraparound deck stretching across the back of the home, then follow the staircase down to your own stretch of shoreline on beautiful Lake Huron. Whether you’re spending your evenings around the table under the pergola, kayaking along the shoreline or simply soaking in the sunset, Between Lake & Sky is all about slowing down and enjoying the simple moments together.

This is the kind of cottage where kids spend all day outside, cousins become best friends for the week and everyone somehow ends up gathered in the kitchen at the end of the night. Guests will have full private access to the main home and all spaces included in the listing, including the living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, sunroom, wraparound deck, staircase to the beach and the main guest outdoor areas at the front, back and East side of the property.

There is a long term tenant who lives in a completely separate section of the property. The tenant has their own private outdoor space located on the west side of the home. There are no shared indoor spaces, and the tenant does not have access to the guest areas, back deck, beach or staircase. Guests can expect a quiet, private and uninterrupted stay throughout their time at the property.
