I visited the place with my parents for a cozy fall trip. All I wanted when I booked this trip is some peace and tranquility away from the city crowds. I got just that but also so much more. Waking up to the prettiest sunrise, not a single urban noise, and so many birds singing beautifully. I got to read two whole books in 5 days- sitting out in the sun by the water; there are enough sitting spots for you to not get bored- the couch, the chairs on the deck, the chairs facing the water and for an even secluded experience, the rocks down the stairs! And the best part was that I was here during world space week and was treated to just that- beautifully clear dark skies for my stargazing- got great pictures of the stars, planets and the Milky Way and witnessed one of the prettiest moonrises of my life. Absolutely worth spending any amount of time if all this sounds like you vibe!Definitely catch a sunset at the Roque bluff state park and take a walk at Jasper beach, which is also an awesome stargazing spot!
