This was a great place to stay close to Garden of the Gods. It was an older building that has been renovated but super clean. A little bit of noise from the main road, but when inside can't really hear it. I would stay here again when visiting this part of the world!

Very happy with the place. Great location: halfway between CO Springs & Manitou Springs/Pikes Peak.Suggestions: anti-slip mats in bath tubs,Sand down sharp edges on thresholds (hurt my feet!)Add lighting over sink area. Get sofas that aren’t like 4 individual chairs, consider pull out beds to sleep more people. I wanted to lay down on the sofa to watch TV and couldn’t due to arm rests/cup holders built into sofas.

This condo was everything as listed,only thing was no commons area outside anymore.there is no oven so our biscuits and gravy was a no go but overall a great placeIt was very conviently located to so many places.garden of the God's,red rock canyon,the Manitou cliff dwellings,cave of the winds.pikes peak was not far.it was easy to go shopping in old Colorado city and Manitou springs,not far at all.there is a Safeway across the street,and sonic.you have a view of pikes peak and beautiful mountains from the front porch.the host was very quick to respond to any communication you may have.overall we enjoyed our 5 day stay and would highly recommend this place.

Cozy,comfortable, plenty of room, good kitchen set up. Four minutes drive to Red Rock Canyon hiking or Manitou, close to Old Colorado City and Garden of the Gods

The location was perfect for our plans! Check in and out were the simplest I've worked with! The apartment was furnished well, the beds were comfortable and the communication with the host was excellent the whole time. We plan to stay again and would recommend!!

This was the perfect place to stay for our early morning adventure to climb the Manitou Incline. It was in a quiet area, space was clean, felt safe and it was surprisingly very modern furnishings. Although we were not traveling with our pups on this trip, I'm making a note to book here again in the future when we do take them along.

Great stay!

Check in/check out was a breeze, the spot was perfect for a little get away, and the host responded too all questions in a timely manner. We also loved how easy check out was! No precleaning required! Would certainly stay here again in the future

Very comfortable place. Easy access to old Colorado City and Manitou Springs for shopping and Garden of the Gods is just up the road. We travel with our Dog and the 'grassy' patches for her to go was scarce, but we made due. The laundry facility is super nice. Towels were plentiful, water pressure was great compared to some VRBO's I've been in.

It was ok but could definitely use some updates and improvements. I understand it's a very old building but it was not well thought out in its updates and rushed. The outlet situation is not functional for most modern situations ( phones etc). There's a coffee pot but no where to plug it in without moving it, also no coffee. No supplies in kitchen ( towels, dish soap), lamp in bedroom not working. Only one set of towels in second bathroom for two people. The space was so small with no space to put anything especially second bedroom. Since ac doesn't go to bedrooms fans were supplied but one was broken. While overall the location was great, communication with host was great, cleanliness was good but there were just so many little details that made it not a very functional or enjoyable experience so I can't say I would recommend or stay here again. For the price I paid I stayed in a mini suite hotel with kitchenette, closet, dresser, king bed, more space and storage than this apartment for less money. Again not that the place was horrible but just not functional or well organized/maintained. Overall location 5, cleanliness 5, host communication 5, property 3Two couples Stay 8/27 to 8/29

I have a list of all of our disappointments:You cannot check in early without a 50 fee, however, we were given a wrong door code and could not check in til 30 min late, yet did not receive a credit for that.The outside doorknob is right against the doorjam, which caused injury to 2 of my fingers. Be VERY careful when opening the door!SO NOISY! Right on main road, and the road noise is horrible could hear neighbors thru the walls. Windows are really old and didn't keep out any noise at all. Hard time sleeping.No usable outlets near any seating, some outlets were very loose, so didn't use those.Blinds were broken & wouldn't close all the way. All the other units had new doors and window treatments.Cobwebs in the windowsills.No room to recline couches, also no room to eat, even tho it stated you could eat at the counter, there are no stools to sit on, so you have to stand.The extra toilet paper in one bathroom was all dusty on the edges (gross).Takes forever to get hot water. Shower head is only 5' high. I'm 5' 5" and it was too short for me. The pics on the website do not show the tub at all, and if I had seen those, I wouldn't have booked. I didn't even want to get in it to shower.We were only given 2 towels and 2 washcloths for 4 nights!No clothes rod to hang clothes, only a couple of hooks.There were no spare trashbags or paper towels.The one good thing about this place, was that it was close to all the activities we wanted to do.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We do want to clarify the concern regarding being locked out of the room, as our records show something different. At 4:24 PM, you contacted us stating that your entry code was not working, and a new code was sent to you at 4:24 PM. The issue was addressed immediately, and there was no extended period where you were unable to access the room. The $50 early check-in fee you mentioned was also never charged or requested; it is simply included in our check-in instructions as an optional service. We also keep our rooms well stocked. Two sets of towels per guest are provided in the room, including bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. Additional towels and supplies are always available in the laundry room, including extra toilet paper, specifically so guests have access to additional items during their stay. As for the concerns regarding the door, supplies, towels, and other issues mentioned, we unfortunately were not made aware of any of these during your stay. Had we been contacted, we would have been happy to address anything within our control while you were there. Room 8 is located on the street-facing side of the property, so some street noise can be expected, although we understand that this can affect guests differently. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to provide the best possible experience for our guests.

The title of this property should be "2 Bedroom 2 Bath Motel Efficiency" as this is a more accurate description. When I booked this, I expected an apartment so I was very disappointed when I opened the door and walked in. To be fair, if I had expected a very small motel efficiency, this place would have been fine so I thought I'd make my review show more of what to actually expect so you can make a more educated choice. It's very small, we figured about 190 sf total for the kitchen and living area combined. The only place to eat a meal is sitting on the couch where 2 people can utilize the coffee table- 4 of us sat with plates in hand and ended up eating most meals out. There is a small fridge and a 4 burner cook top plus microwave and coffee pot. The building is very old so there aren't many outlets- we had to move the coffee pot to the other counter just to plug it in. The main bathroom off the bedroom doesn't have much light. The ceiling fixture doesn't have a switch and the lights above the mirror partially worked. However, the shower was awesome! This entire area is older so most of the properties are as well. That being said, our location for stuff to do and restaurants was great. Considering the age of the property, the unit was clean and owners were easy to talk to. If you go into this with a better understanding of what to expect, I think you will be happy- it just wasn't what I was hoping for.
