Beautiful condo!

My family stayed here for 4 days. Beautiful condo, spacious, loved the double shower head in the master bathroom. My kids loved the patio view of the lazy river pool and Alabama Pass Bridge. Would definitely stay again. 10/10 recommend to anyone!

Space is all you get

The main thing my family loved about this unit was the space! We were on the first floor and close to the pool and entrance which was a plus. Our biggest issues were the low level of cleanliness of the unit, the dated appliances, and worn furniture. The area rug in the family room was turned up on all corners which was a big hazard for my kids and parents. There was also a lot of dust throughout the unit, soap scum on the shower curtains, and the couches were visibly dirty and uncomfortable. Patio furniture was flimsy. The ice machine barely made enough ice for 4 servings, and there was a nasty open space in between the cabinets where something had been removed. We had to wash bath towels everyday due to only about 4 provided.

Location and proximity to the pool was the best thing about this property. A lot of minor disappointments inside the condo. Would not stay in this condo again.

Updates required

Overall we had a great time. The condo could use some updates to the appliances, furniture and cookware. The furniture has rips and stains. The bathroom showers wouldn’t drain and the double shower has mold. The floors in the condo had not been mopped in a long time.

The worst unit

The ONLY thing I loved was the manager (Cheri) who tried to make things right! This was the nastiest unkept place at Phoenix on the Bay2 I have ever encountered!

The facility was very nice and the pool/lazy River/slide were a hit with our kids. The place seemed clean when we got there, but very quickly all of our feet were black… I don’t know if it’s seen a mop in a while. A few pieces of furniture were broken or loose and outside furniture was starting to rust out. The wifi was non existent and the second AC unit for the livingroom&kitchen& third bedroom didn’t work well. The living area and kitchen were nice and big and open! I tried to message the host through VRBO’s contact feature throughout our stay and they never responded. For what it cost it was fine and we had a good time.

Worst spot ever

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a condo rental! We had to leave a day early because we couldn't deal with the issues anymore. I will list all the problems we had with the outdated and nasty condo! 1. Furniture was dirty and smelled like urine. The sitting chairs were firstly, comfortable, and falling apart. 2. Whole condo smelled like rotten fish the entire time! 3. Floor needed to be mopped and swept. We couldn't walk around barefoot because our feet were black. 4. Porch furniture is rusting and breaking apart. It is a hazard due to rusty metal on walk way. Couldn't even enjoy sitting outside. 5. Furniture in the condo is falling apart (bed frames, tv stands) 6. Dirty and nasty glass furniture. Looks like it wasn't been wiped down in months. 7. Dishes had dried up food remnants. Clear that they weren't washed and were placed back in the cabinets. 8. Beds were either hard as rocks or springs are poking out through the mattress. Would have been more comfortable to sleep on the floor. 9. Maintenance wanted us to leave our door open so they could paint door frame. After telling them no, they still cracked our door and did it. 10. Washer and dryer buttons are broke. Dryer squeaks extremely loud. 11. We had to wash our own bedding when we arrived because the bedding was not clean and had stains all on them. Also, beds weren't even made when we arrived. 12. Not communicated that the lazy river didn't have floats. We had to buy our own floats to float the river. 13. There are not common amenities for the kitchen. 14. Ice machine in fridge is broken and the other ice machine only drops a handful of ice (5 pieces) every full hours. 15. Water damage all through the condo.

Beautiful building and view

Disappointed

First of all, the condo is very convenient to keep an eye on the kids when they play in the pool, otherwise, the condo is not worth to stay. The coffee table showed in the picture did not have glass top and was pushed against the wall so there is no coffee table to use. The sofa bed is broken and could not hold up so the kids couldn't sleep on it. The nightstand in one bedroom was completely broke without a light bulb and they didn't even bother to remove it. The floor was so dirty that we couldn't even walk with barefoot. We found trash under the beds. One of the coffee pots did not work. Some of the patio furniture was rusted and in bad shape. Also, the parking pass costs $45/car, not $35 as mentioned. I've never written a bad review before, but this condo needs a lot of work.

This condo was ok!

The condo itself was great! I would highly suggest that the furniture be updated, as it was very hard to get up from the chairs and couch. The mattresses on the double beds are in desperate need of updating (worst bed I’ve slept on in a LONG time)!! This is the first condo I’ve ever stayed in that didn’t have a decent amount of kitchen supplies. No pots and pans, there were a couple glass lasagna pans, a crappy metal frying pan, and a few glass bowls. Hardly anything to drink out of! The double bed bathroom needs a washable shower curtain because when you shower the cloth shower curtain floods the bathroom, and the cloth one hanging was pure disgusting. The toilet wouldn’t flush in the middle bedroom, you had to lift the lid off and manually flush the toilet. The a/c for the double room, living room, and kitchen area couldn’t keep up. I even called the rental company and they sent maintenance out to check it. I hate to sound like it was a terrible trip, but this place just needs some TLC!

Very nice condo

Very nice, high value condo that is conveniently located on first floor close to pools and lazy river. It is very spacious with 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and extremely large living room and kitchen area.

Great Room, Limited Amenities

The room itself was great! (There are limited amount of dishes and silverware though if you’re planning to eat in the room at all). The condo is super clean and smells great! My first issue is that all communication said that the parking pass was $35. When we got there, it was $45. Second, my kids were so excited to play tennis, basketball, and float on the lazy river. However, when they asked for the equipment and floats, they were told to go to a store because the facility didn’t provide any of that. (I’ve stayed at another Phoenix, and all of this was provided). Also, we had friends that stayed at the Phoenix beside this one, and all equipment (including floats) was provided and they got to park for free. Be prepared to be asked about your armband frequently! Lastly, a slide for the pool was advertised, however, they actually took it down while we were there, because apparently, all the owners didn’t like it. So, the listing and information needs to be updated and people should be given a heads up to bring equipment and floats.

Loved view, upon first arriving notice ice makers on fridge and on bar didn’t work. Did have a small portable ice maker on bar. Only makes few small cups at a time. Report made, ticket placed. Wasn’t fixed during the week. TV console broke and unable to get access to DVD player. Unit was decent, but felt it was over priced. Indoor Po closed early 2 days during stay which made it difficult since majority of time it was raining. Master bed needs to be replaced due to lumpy mattress. Overall, decent stay. Just need to read reviews closer before traveling.

Underwhelming - missed potential

I should have read the reviews more closely. The biggest drawback was limited access to everything. Construction going on with bay docks, so there was no access to them and caution tape was everywhere. Loud equipment was disruptive working on them. Parking, despite the listing saying it’s $30, is actually $35. The pool was a huge perk. The lazy river was amazing, but the slide was closed and pool hours were limited because of it being “off season.” Despite permanent signs saying the pool closed at 10, temp signs said it closes now at 8pm. Security guard even started locking it sooner. The condo itself had good sleeping space although the layout was poorly thought out. The floor was disgusting and needed a thorough mop. The kitchen lacked important staples. Dishes were limited. The coffee pot didn’t heat up but the property manager brought a new one. (Thanks!) Neither ice maker worked. We filled ice trays all week. The dryer left marks on clothes. The sofa was dumpy but incredibly comfortable. Master bathroom needed bulbs replaced. Dishwasher is missing wheels on the bottom rack. The unit is on the ground floor which was awesome for accessing everything. Property management was very responsive and helpful. All in all, it was a good week. A few finishing touches could have made it excellent.

Lots of space

The house was very spacious and clean. The kitchen drawer was broken. The ice maker was very hot and didnt work. Only one of the 4 T.V.s actually worked. A couple of the bar chairs had rips in them. Over all we had a great time and enjoyed our stay, they just need to fix those few minor issues for us to use this location again.

LOVED IT!!!

We really enjoyed the ease of getting to our room and my kids absolutely loved the water park and lazy river. The property and condo is extremely beautiful and spacious. We can not wait for our next trip. Only complaints were the gnats and ants in room.
