This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home decorated with modern and classic pieces is sure to be a comfortable home for both families and business travelers.

Guests traveling with a pet are required to pay a $75 pet fee and disclose they are traveling with pets on their reservation!

We had a great stay! Home is very welcoming and comfortable, as well as accurate to description. Quiet residential street but easy and quick access to downtown Charleston. Host timely in responding. Highly recommend property if in the area.

Gorgeous home. Love the decor - house was clean but unfortunately, smelled like cat urine. We bought odor eliminator’s and air fresheners to try to lessen the odor. The smell permeated so bad it was upstairs as well.

We were very surprised to read your feedback regarding an odor, as we have a strict no-cat policy, do not own cats, and have never allowed them on the property. In over four years of hosting, this is the very first time a guest has raised this concern. Both our cleaning team—who inspected the home thoroughly before and after your stay—and our prior/subsequent guests reported no unusual smells. We always encourage guests to reach out to us during their stay if anything falls short of expectations so we can address it immediately. Because this wasn't brought to our attention until after checkout, we were unfortunately unable to assist or investigate while you were here. We appreciate you taking the time to share your review and wish you safe travels on your future trips!

Beautiful home, lovingly cared for, thoughtfully appointed. Communication with host was excellent. The location served us very well for access to CAMC Memorial Hospital as well as downtown. We loved the village-feel of the neighborhood with several excellent restaurants close by as well as other small shops. The cottage feels more like a home than a temporary accommodation. The hosts have done a fine job of thinking about what their guests may need and the kinds of things that will increase comfort.The kitchen and downstairs bath were spacious and provided everything we needed and more. We appreciated the way the owners have preserved the beauty of this older home at the same time they have modernized it in ways that ensure it functions well for a family on the go. Our highest recommendation!

We absolutely loved this place!! It was the perfect mix of Grandma cottage and modern. Which is a favorite of mine!! The kids loved the different tea k cups available. It was easily accessible and, located near multiple restaurants and shopping centers, bathrooms were fully stocked with extras. Thank you for making the wrestling weekend much easier for my family.

What a wonderful house and location! It worked out perfectly for my family - we were down for a family reunion in the area. Quiet neighborhood - walking distance to many amenities. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was as described. Communication was very good, property had everything we needed (except aluminum foil), beds were very comfortable. Parking in the back was a little tricky, but we managed. Loved being able to walk to a few restaurants. Access to downtown was easy too. The 4 of us older adults enjoyed a fun day of hiking on Friday and found all kinds of things to buy and take home at the Capitol Market, before heading to the Capitol building and Museum. We ran out of time before we ran out of things to do. The house was perfect for 2 couples to stay in.

This is a perfect place and the owners don’t skimp out on comfort. Beds are fantastic. Comfy couches. Excellent location. The only recommendation is I would state the fence isn’t a closed in one. We picked this house because of the fence and we have a dog. Will come back though because the house is that great we will walk the dog in the morning.

The host was very informative and accommodating, considering the circumstances, winter storm of 2026. As soon as we entered, we were all pleasantly surprised by how charming, welcoming, and warm the home, decor, amenities made us all feel. Although we wished we had more time to explore the quaint area near the home, it offered many interesting restaurants, boutiques, stores to explore. If the opportunity presents itself, we would definitely return to the South Hills Charmer.

Clean & comfortable

The home was clean and the beds were comfortable for our weekend stay. It is within walking distance to a few local restaurants and we enjoyed carry out at the nearby pizza place. It was quiet and in the perfect location.

I can’t say enough good things about this home. Meticulously restored and maintained. Furnishings were lovely. Well supplied with paper products, coffee/tea, full kitchen etc. communication was excellent including recommended dining places in walking distance and close to downtown Charleston. Should we head in this direction again, I would definitely book here!!
