Great location and space. Host was very accommodating.

The house was spacious, and the hosts were very accommodating with parking and communication. There were some slight plumbing issues, that were handled right away and did not affect the stay. There were AC units in all bedrooms, and the location is unbeatable with access to the beach.

We had a wonderful family stay. The house is very comfortable. Having the lake down the street was amazing. It's an excellent location for getting to Loyola and Northwestern. The house is very tastefully decorated and the hosts were always helpful. The garage, in spite of the extra charge, was a massive help. Great house!

We stayed at the Urban Beach House for my son's graduation from Loyola. I can not say enough positive things - it was wonderful. The house had room for our entire family (we were 9 adults), the location was AMAZING - walk to campus, walk to the park and beach, walk to the market on Morse Ave. We loved the back yard and had a wonderful celebration w/ my son and his friends. The hosts were very accommodating and communicated well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property.

Fantastic Vacation Location

Me and my family had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home filled with character and perfect spaces for fun and comfort! Its literally steps away from loyola park and beach. We literally could not ask for a better location based on our needs. Someone in our part was from Japan and we wanted to give them an authentic Chicago experience - from Lake Michigan, to green, walkable neighborhoods, to proximity to CTA, it was perfect. The house is exactly as pictured. We were six adults using four bedrooms. Everyone agreed the mattresses were very comfortable. I loved Rogers room. Plenty of towels. We rented the garage space which we found was very smart. The street is not very wide and fills up quickly with resident parking. It is an older home that the owners have honored with appropriate furniture and decor. I appreciate that they haven't renovated the charm out of it. I am a historic preservation advocate and they've done it right. My only suggestion would be to bring soap, shampoo, and any food/spices you want for cooking. There is a Whole Foods store close by. You convinced our Japanese friend that they love Chicago!

Great house, great location!

This is the second year we’ve booked the Urban Beach House for Memorial Day weekend. Just a quick walk to the beach, spacious backyard, and a roomy deck and front porch provide lots of outdoor opportunities. Kitchen is well appointed and a large dining room, bar seating, and deck seating are great. Our hosts were responsive and accommodating.

Perfect graduation weekend

My family and I stayed at the Urban Beach House for my son's college graduation. The house was ideally located in between Evanston and Chicago, where we did most of our activities. Being near the lake was also a plus for morning walks. The house was nicely appointed with a great backyard patio. We enjoyed our stay very much.
