Iris Apartment offers luxurious accommodation with space for up to four people and offers many advantages to make your vacation in the most beautiful city of Croatia more fun. The apartment is located in the quiet and idyllic area of Lapad, just a few minutes walk to many beaches, walks by the sea, entrum from Lapad, hotels, restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, banks, mini markets, post office, pharmacies and Bus station (with very simple bus traffic every 10 minutes directly to the old town).

Lovely Apartment

We had a lovely time in Dubrovnik and our apartment accommodations were wonderful. Our hostess thought of everything and she was extremely helpful. The apartment was delightful and we had everything we needed. Do know there were quite a few steps to climb and we did need to take a short bus ride to Old Town, but it was very easy. I would highly recommend this accommodation!!

Nice stay And friendly host

We had a Nice stay And Iris is a friendly host.. The appartment was very clean And had all you need.. The location was good situated but for little childeren it’S hard working every day walking to the bus And beach.. a lot of steep Hills And steps.. especially in mid summer.. For adults it’S perfect.. The only thing to mention about the appartment.. showering 4 people is not possible.. the fourth one will have cold water..

What a fantastic apartment and what a view every morning watching the cruise ships coming in and out

Our host Iris was the most charming woman. All the little personal touches were special. Spotless clean. Home from home. Highly recommend a visit.

Absolutely lovely!

The photo's don't do the property justice. It's very spacious and the view from the terrace is amazing, you can just spend the day just watching the ships coming in and out with a drink. Washing also dries out on it super fast! Iris was absolutely lovely and so helpful and left us some lovely things for when we arrived including homemade liquers and marmalade. As well as the bog standard literature Iris has made a folder with really helpful information. The apartment is in a great location, a short walk to a couple of beaches, one which has an inflatable assault course, and only a short walk into town or a 10 minute bus ride to Dubrovnik old town. The air conditioning is also really effective and is in both bedrooms as well as the main kitchen/lounge which is a God send in the extreme heat. The dishwasher and washing machine were super handy. It was so hot we ended up going through two sets of clothes a day. The apartment was immaculately clean with lots of little extra's like a safe and disposable slippers. It's a 5 minute walk to a small supermarket, the equivalent of a SPAR or Tesco Express. My top tip would be to take pool shoes as the beaches are pebbled but also, there are lots of sea urchins that release their spikes in to you if you step on them (their are a couple of spare pairs in the apartment). We would book this apartment again when going back to Dubrovnik area.

Fantastisk utsikt og hyggelig vertskap

Vi ble møtt av utleier Iris, som hele tiden holdt en god dialog med oss fra vi bestilte til dagen vi dro. Svarte raskt på spørmål. Vi anbefaler utleier og sted. Fantastisk utsikt. Eneste minus var muligens litt mange trapper opp til leiligheten.

Wohnung mit Blick auf Hafen und Baustelle

Hier möchten wir gerne unsere Erfahrung wiedergeben, die wir mit dieser tollen Wohnung gemacht haben. Es fehlte in der Wohnung an Nichts. Alles war liebevoll hergerichtet und entsprach auch dem, wie es die Vermieterin schildert. Ein toller Urlaub, wäre da nicht diese Baustelle neben unserer Terrasse gewesen. Neubau im Rohbau. Montags bis Samstags von 08:00 bis 17:00 eine Getöse durch Mischmaschinen, Kreissägen und Gehämmer. Aufenthalt auf der Terrasse somit unmöglich. Leider wurden wir im Vorfeld nicht darüber informiert und man entschuldigte sich nur wiederholt. Baustopp gibt es wohl erst im Juli und wir waren 2 Wochen im Juni da. Wünsche alle anderen Gästen, dass der Bau schnell fertig wird, um einen erholsamen Urlaub zu verbringen. Schade eigentlich.

Iris est charmante, à l’écoute et très disponible. L’appartement est très bien placé avec une vue imprenable sur la mer adriatique et les ferry. Appartement d’une propreté impeccable , fonctionnel, la literie est de très bonne qualité.Pour une quarantaine de kunas (6€), vous avez un Uber pour 4 personnes pour vous rendre dans la vieille ville qui est à 4 kms environ, mais ça se fait également très bien à pied ! Si nous devions revenir à Dubrovnik nous n’hesiterisons pas à revenir chez Iris !

Sehr schönes Apartment in toller Lage

Ein sehr schönes ausgestattetes Apartment in ruhiger Lage im Stadtteil Babin Kuk. Toller Blick von dem Balkon, auf dem von morgens bis abends die Sonne steht. Im Apartment fanden wir auch kleine, nette Aufmerksamkeiten wie Obst, Marmelade, Kaffee, Tee und Plätzchen von der sehr netten, hilfsbereiten Vermieterin.

Nice apartment with great view

We stayed at the apartment for one week over Easter. Iris, the owner, was very lovely and even brought us cake and easter chocolate. We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment was quiet (dead end road), clean and there was everything we needed. The view across the harbour is really great. There is a supermarket just a few minutes down the street with everything you need. With the bus stopps nearby you can take the local busses which take you to the old town conveniently. We also enjoyed the walking trail around the peninsula Babin Kuk which was accessible through stairs almost next to the apartment. We recommend this place.

Wonderful apartment with a lovely host!

A friend and I stayed here for a week and we really enjoyed our stay. Iris could not have been more helpful. The small supermarket is close by as it the bus into the Old Town. At first I thought we were too far out but that was not the case at all. The bus took only about 10 minutes to deposit us in front of Pile Gate. The apartment is modern, comfortable and well equipped. I would happily spend time there again. Okay, there are a few flights of stairs to get to it but, without them, you wouldn't have the view.

Fantastic views quiet and relaxing

Stayed for 12 days Iris arranged taxi and he was there even though our flight was an hour late. Iris greeted us with some homemade drinks & marmalades all very nice. If we needed anything we only had to ask & she would help. The place is much bigger than it looks great views across the harbour of the cruise ships. Very clean & tidy place. Copacabana beach was nice with bar & nice food and music. Cave bar & Lapad beach nice with bars and restaurants Buono good with large portions. Mini market down street & bus stop close. Very peaceful area. Iris arranged our taxi to airport & her son helped us with bags. Had a great time here.

Beautiful apartment in perfect location

Just returned from 7 night stay in this beautiful apartment. Everything about it was 5*. Firstly we received a warm welcome from Iris's daughter in law and although she mentioned that it was her first time greeting guests she was warm and friendly and pointed out all we needed to know about the apartment and surrounding area. Iris organised taxi pick up from airport which was really helpful, taxi driver pointed out places of interest en route. Everything was exceptionally clean and spacious with plenty of storage to unpack all your holiday items. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Great location with short walk to Copacbana Beach along beautiful waterfront, supermarket only 2 mins walks and plenty of restaurants to choose from. The best point was the amazing view from the balcony overlooking Gruz Harbour. It was simply stunning, interesting watching the cruise ships come and go and beautifully lit up when the sun went down. It was well worth staying in Lapad away from the crowds of the Old City, it was peaceful and relaxing at the end of the day. Things we would recommend to do: Walk of the city walls, (we left this until after 5pm after the crowds of the cruise ships left the Old Town otherwise it would have been crazy). Trip to Lokrum Island, a peaceful getaway from the Old Town and beautiful clear waters ideal for swimming. Dubrovnik Buggy Safari, an exciting buggy ride on rough terrain, prepare to have fun and get dirty, informative guide and amazing views. Dubrovnik is a truly beautiful town and everyone was so friendly, would definitely recommend it in a heart beat! Miss it already!

Lovely modern apartment

I booked this apartment for a one week break with my wife and daughters aged 5 & 7. I was really pleased with the apartment which was very clean, spacious and modern. The balcony has great views over the harbour and hills and perfect for breakfast in the sun. There are two bedrooms, two singles and a double separated by the bathroom. Iris, the owner was very friendly and very helpful and informative. It's in a residential area so was very quiet, but still close to a lot of amenities. There is a reasonable size supermarket about 5 minutes walk away which has just about everything you need, including a bakery section with nice croissants. Opposite the supermarket is the bus stop and the bus takes about 15 minutes to the old town for 15 Kuna each way per adult. Copacabana beach is a nice 20 minute walk along the coastal path but it is a stony beach. It does have a nice bar and restaurant open late and there are sun beds for hire. There are a couple of restaurants about 10 minutes walk away. Our favourite was The Yacht Club Orsan - lovely food, good service and reasonable prices. A little further along the harbour front is a bar and pizzeria as well and if you fancy it you can also catch a boat from here to the old town harbour. In summary I was very pleased with our choice of apartment and its location.

This apartment had everything we could have hoped

This apartment had everything we could have hoped for, all amenities included, the view was one of the best in the world, by day and night, we could see all the cruise liners coming and going every day, always a spectacular view. Our host Iris, and her family were so welcoming, and did everything they could to help us during our stay, including spot on directions, help with maps, bus times to visit the old city, boat trips, beach information, on our arrival there was provisions in the fridge, homemade marmalade, and her fantastic roses liqueur which was delicious, we had fresh figs from the garden which were delicious, my family and i enjoyed our stay so much and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a home from home in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik, would love to return very soon, many thanks to Iris and her family for having us as guests.

Belle vue.

Appartement très agréable avec une jolie vue. Nous avons peu vu la propriétaire qui était absente durant la semaine. Le samedi soir , les ados ont du profiter de son absence pour faire la fête avec alcool, bruit, cris, et vomi par dessus le balcon. Il a fallu que j'intervienne. Je ne pense pas que c'était inclus dans le prix de la location....

Lovely apartment, beautiful location, great host

Our first visit to Croatia certainly didn't disappoint! Iris was so helpful during the easy booking process, and arranged airport transfers for us so we felt relaxed as soon as we landed. The apartment is just as the photos show - clean, well equipped and comfortable for a family of 4. Terrace is perfect size, with shade and a good view of the cruise ships! Iris was an excellent and friendly host and her home made liquer and preserves were a lovely gift as well as fresh figs from her garden. Everything is within walking distance - super beaches (we found 'Solitudo' perfect and swam every day), clear sea, supermarket at the end of the street and loads of restaurants (Madonna worth a visit - opposite hotel Lapad) all very affordable. There are hills and steps but we all enjoyed our walks back in the evening and helped to burn off some of the calories from our delicious meals out. The Old city is only 10 minutes by bus - easy journey and cheap. Still things left to do so we'd love to come back and have already recommended this apartment to our family. Thank you Iris!

“Excellent !”

L'appartement est impeccable, très récent, bien équipé et tout à fait conforme à la description et aux photos. La propriétaire est charmante et très accueillante, elle a organisé pour nous notre transfert depuis l'aéroport et retour. Elle habite l'appartement juste en dessous et est donc joignable facilement en cas de besoin. La vue sur le port est incroyable. Nous y avons séjourné 10 jours, fin juillet, avec nos deux enfants de 4 et 8 ans et avons bien apprécié la climatisation car il faisait très chaud. l'appartement est idéalement situé, la vieille ville est très facile d'accès en bus, les plages sont accessibles à pied même avec de jeunes enfants. Petits "défauts" : la montée vers l'arrêt de bus (un peu rude sous le soleil !), le lit double est confortable mais grince un peu, la vaisselle (surtout les couverts) est un peu juste en quantité pour 4 personnes, et la table sur la terrasse est un peu petite pour y prendre un repas à 4. Ceci dit l'été il fait beaucoup trop chaud pour prendre les repas sur la terrasse ! Il y a un supermarché au bout de la rue et des restaurants à environ 15-20 min à pied. Nous recommandons sans réserve cette location.

Beautifully appointed and located apartment

We rented this apartment for a short stay in July 2014. The landlady was prompt and helpful in her email communications and was there to welcome us when we arrived with a glass of delicious mint lemonade, but allowed us our full privacy after that. We loved the apartment, which is lovely inside, with two attic-style bedrooms, a good kitchen, excellent bathroom and a spacious living area. The best thing of all was the balcony terrace with spectacular views of the harbour and mountains behind. We enjoyed sitting in the sun and watching the cruise ships come in and out. The location is excellent - in a quiet street but only a short walk from a small supermarket and restaurants, as well as the bus to the old town. I would happily have stayed much longer.

A memorable and fantastic holiday

When we arrived we were greeted by Iris as friends. Iris welcomed us to Croatia and shared with us homemade marmalade , mint iced water and a local beverage. She was very helpful as well in showing us the many beautiful places to visit and also where to eat. Apartment was spotlessly clean with air condition throughout - the views from the balcony are spectacular. I would highly recommend apartment for anyone planning on visiting Dubrovnik. I will return and stay here again - Thank you Iris
