Beautiful surroundings and a great size house and pool. We all loved our stay. Its very rare we return to a holiday home. However, we would be happy to return.

A really wonderful property; and an excellent place for a large family holiday. The house is beautifully decorated and fantastically equipped. The grounds are wonderful and so spacious, with a great pool.The owners have thought of everything; it’s clearly a much loved family property. We enjoyed the fresh produce from the gardens and the many different areas to enjoy the property, it was really heavenly. The hosts were gracious, informative and generous; meeting us at the property and showing us all around the house amenities, which were really family-friendly. The property is in a great area to visit La Rochelle, Ile de RĂ©, Puy du Fou, O’Gliss park for days out, but we also spent many days at the property and visiting local towns and markets. The surrounding area is beautiful with red squirrels, birds of prey, goats (of course) and horses to see on walks. A truly wonderful holiday; we’d love to come back!

Great property

Pictures don’t do the property justice, it is amazing although slightly quirky which adds to the charm. Great communication with owners before and during stay. kitchen has all the gadgets etc that you need and more. The pool and garden are wonderful. There are bicycles and games for adults and children. Parking for 4 cars. Property is at the end of a lane amongst fields but only 15 minutes from a large supermarket and 40-50 minutes from La Rochelle. There are in fact 2 full bathrooms one downstairs and one upstairs which has a separate toilet as well as a downstairs toilet. Had wonderful weather but the property has so much indoor space that even bad weather wouldn’t really spoil your stay with kitchen and store room, dining room, lounge and large playroom downstairs and 4 bedrooms upstairs. Had a really chilled week in the property and even saw chicks grow and leave the nest box which is above the outside table and other wildlife including deer. Would certainly recommend and would consider staying again if in the area

A Home Away from Home

We had such an amazing stay at the property! We were a relatively large group, with 2 families of 4 and a set of grandparents. The house was perfect for us! It was immaculately clean, well equipped and very spacious. The outside space and gardens were beautiful, and the kids had loads to do and explore. The pool was perfect and we spend many a day and eveing there as a family. The house it self was perfect as we had communal spaces as well as individual spaces for our individual families. The play room was a god send with the kids! The kitchen was full of all modern facilities and the outside dinning area was great for wveing meals and parent time, when the kids were in bed. Our hosts were amazing, they clearly have great pride in their property and it showed with their communication and how well they assisted us during our stay. The only downfall would be its location as its quite rural. But if you want privacy for your family it cant be beaten! Shops were not that far, and easy to find. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who asked! us.

Vacances inoubliables

Nous avons passé 15 jours idylliques à la "Chevrette". La maison est spacieuse et trÚs bien équipée pour les familles. Le jardin est magnifique, la piscine trÚs grande et sécurisée, un vrai havre de paix! L accueil des propriétaires était trÚs chaleureux et la région regorge d activités a faire en famille. Nous reviendrons avec le plus grand des plaisirs!

Tolles Anwesen mit viel Platz fĂŒr Urlaub

Wir hatten mit 2 Familien einen wunderbaren Urlaub. Das Haus und das große GrundstĂŒck waren ideal. Der Pool war riesig. Das Anwesen liegt etwas abseits vom Geschehen. DafĂŒr hatten wir unsere Ruhe, die wir bewusst gesucht haben. Das Haus selbst ließ keine WĂŒnsche offen. Selbst das Fehlen eines Fernsehers wurde von uns als Ă€ußerst positiv betrachtet. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr sympathisch und reagierten stets auf unsere Fragen. Wir haben uns absolut wohl gefĂŒhlt. Dank an Patricia und Francois.
