Great house in a tranquil location, with beautiful garden and paddocks. The house is clean, well maintained and modern, with a well stocked kitchen, a lovely heated saltwater pool. Location is fab, local village has a shop and a couple of restaurants and a nice town of Le Bugue is within a 20min drive. The host is friendly and responsive. It’s a great place for a family or a two couples break.

Perfect accommodation

Lovely house is a beautiful private location. This was our second visit. It is a very nice restoration and everything works well... air conditioning, wi-fi, heated pool. The landscaping is very nice.

Beautiful domain with well equiped vacation house

Outspokenly quit location with a beautiful domain and recently renovated vacation house, well equiped. Good service. Nice heated swimming pool. Higly recommended for those who love nature (22 types of butterflies, 45 types of birds, 95 types of moths etc.).

Intimate house in peaceful surrounding

Very comfortable and quiet house in the countryside. Renovated with a lot of eye for details and taste. Has everything you need. Not big inside but as we are just 2 is was wonderful and very intimate. Garden is beautiful designed and maintained. Merci Arno for your hospitality.

Lovely stay

The house is beautifully updated along with beautiful landscaping. The owner has put much thought into design details of house and landscaping. Everything worked perfectly, including the air conditioning and the pool was heated to just the right temperature. Location is very private and near the charming village of Trémolat.

A perfect week in Trémolat

A wonderfully stylish house that has everything you need and a beautiful setting for a peaceful break without being too far from shops and restaurants. Everything was absolutely perfect - Arno was really helpful when we needed to make some last minute changes and Cassandra was incredibly helpful and friendly. For us it really couldn’t get much better!

A great property, very high quality. Tremolat has a good range of places to eat and a well stocked small shop as well as a garage. There are fantastic places to visit in the area, caves, pretty villages, chateau, the river, many places to cover all interests and never more than an hours drive at worst. A fantastic area for quality food and wine. We saw wild deer at dusk near the property and loved the luxury, the extensive facilities, the pool, all the outdoor sitting and lounging areas, just take precautions for the mosquitoes in the evening if you are outside but that goes for anywhere in the summer. We ate in Le Bistrot de la Place (amazing), Restaurant les Berges (lovely and good value) Nulle Part Ailleurs (great pizza and good value) and of course the Bergerac wines are amazing too.. We appreciated the good WiFi, great kitchen, big family dining table, separate showers and toilets for both bedrooms, the air conditioning and the washer dryer in the laundry. A great place to stay and use as a base to tour the area. Loved it and Arno is super helpful and attentive.

Beautiful modern home with original charm!

Had a great week staying here. The grounds and landscaping are wonderful. Lots of little areas to sit and relax and enjoy the scenery. The pool was always at the perfect temperature. Nighttime was equally as stunning as the garden can all be lit. The kitchen has every appliance and cooking utensil one might need and the home even has air conditioning! This was such a pleasure on the sweltering days. Can’t wait to return!

Fantastic

We were a family of 4 including a 3 and 6 year old and had a brilliant weeks stay. The house has been beautifully renovated with a stunning garden and pool, even better than in the photos! The house included absolutely everything we needed and is only a short bike ride or walk into beautiful Tremolat for morning Croissants (you need to reserve the day before!) as well as a couple of excellent restaurants. Loads to do/see in the local vicinity. Communication from Arno and Fabienne excellent throughout. We hope to return one day! Thank you for a brilliant holiday,

We had a fantastic week at Arno’s property, me, my wife, and 2 young children, 4 & 6 years old.I cannot rate this property and the setting highly enough. It’s even more idyllic than it already looks in the photos.The property was perfect size for our family of four, with comfy beds, lovely big bathrooms with powerful showers, fully stocked kitchen and a great open living and dining space. The property has zoned air con throughout but stayed lovely and cool inside without it, even when temperatures got into the high 30s. The pool is perfect - saltwater and stayed at an ideal temperature for cooling down. It’s a very peaceful setting with great landscaping and lovely outdoor lighting for the evenings. Checking in and out was straight forward and communication with Arno was easy. Tremolat is very pretty and a short walk into the village from the property. We enjoyed picnics and swimming in the river in nearby Limeuil and the market in le Bugue. But most of our time was spent enjoying the property, the grounds, the pool, and bbqs in the evening. We were very sad to leave and we wouldn’t think twice about returning the future

Het huis in Trémolat is een echt pareltje!We hebben het er zeer goed gehad. Het is prachtig gerenoveerd met oog voor detail, kwaliteit en stijl. Aan alles is gedacht. Alle comfort overgoten met een sausje van luxe. Het huis staat op een zeer groot terrein met verzorgde tuin(en) rond het hele huis. De tuin is prachtig. Heel knap ontworpen en bijzonder zorgzaam onderhouden. En genoten van het mooie zwembad. Dit huis is de top van de top! Je voelt je er zeer welkom. Ook goede communicatie met de eigenaar Arno.

Très belle maison, confortable et restaurée avec beaucoup de goût. Parfaitement située pour être au calme et profiter du jardin et de la piscine. Une belle adresse, au calme… au sein d’un beau Périgord…

Ces 2 semaines passées dans cette longère de plein pied et doucement climatisée, rénovée dans un esprit contemporain comme nous aimons, ont passé trop rapidement. Tout le confort souhaité était de rigueur, lits confortables, cuisine très bien équipée, grand salon apaisant, ceci dans un environnement très reposant, joliment vallonné et arboré. Nous n’oublierons pas la piscine très agréable traitée elle aussi de façon minimaliste et contemporaine. Nous serions bien restés une semaine supplémentaire. Merci à Cassandra, à messieurs le pisciniste et le jardinier 😊 Arno et Fred Merci !

Résidence et Vacances 5 étoiles

Pour qui recherche le calme, la tranquillité et la sérénité de la campagne, n'hésitez surtout pas, louez cette longère. La propriété est somptueuse, tant à l'intérieur de la maison, qui est décoré avec soin et raffinement, qu'à l'extérieur qui est un enchantement pour les yeux. C'est un lieu de résidence digne d'un hotel 5 étoiles. Cassandra vous accueille avec son sourire, un petit cadeau de bienvenue, et n'hésite pas à prendre de son temps pour vous donner toutes les informations utiles. Le WIFI fonctionne même au bord de la piscine, pratique quand on a un enfant qui ne passe que 3h par jour dans l'eau. Tous les 2 jours, vous avez un marché à moins de 15km de la maison. Les balades en vélo autour de Trémolat sont physiques, ca monte et ca descend tout le temps mais elles sont superbes. Un grand merci à Arno de nous avoir loué sa propriété.

Everything about this property and it's location is of the highest quality. Arno's book of images shows the sympathetic development of the original building to its current excellent look and feel. Walkable to the village of Tremolat with its quality bistro and pizzeria and to a local boulangerie. We wanted a chillout holiday so stayed close the pool, however, Tremolat is ideally situated as a base to see a host of interesting places to visit. And talking of hosts...Arno and Cassandra were excellent. We will certainly want to return to this beautiful place.

Calme et bien être

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à La Queyssou (trop court du coup!). La maison est superbe alliant contemporain et ancien avec les murs apparents et les poutres. Très belle déco. La semaine ensoleillée nous a donnée de fantastiques couchers de soleil, et le calme total nous a permis de pleinement nous reposer. La piscine chauffée en cas de besoin ainsi que le jardin arboré avec grand goût est un atout supplémentaire au bien être que l'on ressent de suite en arrivant. Nous reviendrons sûrement.

Maison très bien équipée et aménagée de manière sublime. Tout est là pour passer des vacances inoubliables. Cassandra est très acceuillante et chaleureuse. Très belle piscine qui garantit une parfaite intimité. Le centre de Trémolat (et boulanger) se trouwent à 1.5 km.

Great Tremolat property!

Fabulous holiday home, well located to explore the Dordogne region. It’s contemporary with hi spec furnishings, comfy beds and the pool was a welcome addition on hot afternoons. One of the best properties we’ve stayed in, we will definitely return.
