We had an excellent two-week stay in this lovely traditional gîte. The accommodation was comfortable and well equipped. The hosts, Pascal and Sabine, were wonderful and very welcoming. Our 10-year-old son really enjoyed the pool area. There was plenty to do and see in the area. We would definitely recommend it.

Peaceful hideaway

We really enjoyed just relaxing and taking it easy! Swimming in the beautiful pool in peaceful surroundings was perfect. Sabine and Pascale were very helpful and caring. It was so restful and beautiful at the gite, we loved it!

Very charming

Lovey restored old farmhouse, furnished with care and attention. Beautiful site, with both nice shady seating as well as sunny swimming pool with comfortable lounge area. Relaxed and welcoming hosts. We had a marvelous time with our three kids.

First Class Accommodation

Our hosts were friendly and welcoming on arrival- thank you for the wine! The property is beautiful and unique- all fixtures and fittings modern and efficient. The weather was mixed but we managed a few lengths in the pool and we found the house to be an excellent centre for exploring the Dordogne and Vezere valleys.

Great holiday

We had a great holiday; warm welcome, house equipped with all neccessary items and clean, great pool, nice surroundings and yet close to Le Bugue with supermarkets and lovely market on thuesday and saterday. Sabine and Pascal are very nice and helpfull. Cheers! Highky recommended.

Beautiful gîte. 100% would go again!

Sabine and Pascal were lovely hosts, they had excellent communication and even gave us a bottle of wine as a gift on arrival. The gîte was far better than our expectations, had a warm and comfortable feel while still being very chic and exactly what you want from a French gîte. The kitchen was very well equipped and we did a lot of cooking because of this. It also had absoltuely beautiful surroundings, with a lovely private pool area with an undercover seating area which we enjoyed played cards in. We left incredibly relaxed and rejuvenation which is exactly what we went for. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable.

Perfect Rural Setting

My partner and I arrived at Pascal and Sabines rural retreat for a one week stay after travelling the Dordogne region. A private pool with stunning surroundings . The house itself is quirky, clean and has everything you need. Just a short scenic drive to the centre of Le Bugue and you can access all local ammenities. Sabine & Pascal were incredibly friendly and informative. They are there when you need them and non intrusive. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect rural setting !

Relaxation

Lovely property! We felt instantly relaxed from the moment we arrived until we had to leave. If you want peace and tranquility you would be hard pushed to do better. Our hosts were very welcoming, very easy to talk to as was their neighbours. we would have no problem with returning apart from the stairs which were a little awkward for two over-60's! (We did manage better as the week progressed) Thank You.

Nice hidden gem in the Dordogne

We had a very nice and comfortable stay in this well situated house near Le Bugue. Well situated because a lot of the must sees in the Dordogne are within 1 hour drive. The house itself is well equiped and offers everything you need for a selfcatering holiday home. A large Hypermaché is in the nice village. The owners live nextdoor and are very helpfull when needed but give you all your privacy. The warmed swimming pool is nice and had a very nice and comfortable poolhouse. The pool is a maybe a bit small and is situated across 'the street' (we were not aware of that) but that's really no issue unless you have small childeren: You don't have a view on the pool from the house. The house itself feels very cozy. Be aware that the acces to the first floor is by a loft ladder and the only toilet is on ground level. That is actually the only less comfortable aspect a this pretty house. Anyway, we had a very nice stay and definitly recommend this place.

If you need rest and silence in beautiful surroundings, book this lovely old house.

We were very nice and kindly welcomed by Pascal and Sabine with a bottle of chilled white wine. Loved that! Before we arrived Sabine allready answered some questions we had, she responded very quikly every time. You can drive to Le Bugue within 10 minutes and get everything you need there at the Supermarche. The house is lovely, decoratie in style. Everything you need is there. We only slept inside because during the day we spend our time at the great pool and poolhouse. What a great place and then the gardens around it. All you hear are birds and all you see is trees. We even saw a little deer walk by a few times. Privacy all around. If necessary Pascal will clean or fill up the pool but you almost never see him or Sabine. We went home after two wonderful weeks of rest and sunshine and were completely rested en fresh. Thank you Pascal and Sabine! We had a great time!

Tolle Unterkunft (ehemaliger Stall mit Heulager), die mit viel Liebe und Herzblut von Pascal und Sabine hergerichtet wurde. Toller eigener Pool. Ländliche Umgebung mit absoluter Ruhe. Wer die Natur, das Rustikale und die Ruhe liebt, ist hier genau richtig. Auto erforderlich, mit diesem sind aber viele tolle Ziele des Périgord erreichbar. In Le Bugue gibt es diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank an Sabine und Pascal, nicht nur für den Wein zur Begrüßung, sondern auch dafür, dass ihr jederzeit für Rückfragen und Tipps erreichbar wart.

Très belles vacances en Périgord

Nous recherchions un lieu paisible, calme et beau avec piscine privative : nous avons été comblés. Pascal et Sabine nous ont accueillis très gentiment dans ce très bel endroit: jolie maison agréable, propre avec tout le nécessaire, jolie piscine dans un cadre magnifique. Nous recommandons ce lieu!

Kann man nur empfehlen.

Wer authentisch im Périgord Urlaub machen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Ein altes Haus, sorgsam renoviert und modernisiert ohne dem Haus seinen eigen Stil zu nehmen - sehr gut gemacht. Daneben ein Garten mit einem wunderbaren Pool - für die heißen Tage genau das Richtige. Das Haus hat alle Annehmlichkeiten, eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche und alle Verbrauchsdinge wie Spülmachinentabs waren bereits im Haus. Es war sehr sauber. Vor dem Haus war ein kleiner Garten mit einem Grill, Tisch und Sonnenschirm - man konnte in der sehr ruhigen Gegend sehr gut entspannen. Sabine & Pascal sind sehr, sehr gute Gastgeber. Zurückhaltend und sind doch jederzeit ansprechbar und haben für alle Fragen ein offenes Ohr und immer einen Tipp bereit. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Super séjour au calme

L'espace piscine est vraiment très agréable et très bien pensé. Nous avons passé une semaine au calme avec nos deux enfants. Les hôtes nous ont très bien accueilli (merci encore ). A refaire !

Wie Gott in Frankreich

Wir waren eine Woche im Haus und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist ideal gelegen, um das Perigord Noir mit seinen vielfältigen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erkunden. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch der Markt in Le Bugue. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe renoviert. Die Küche ist zwar klein aber gut ausgestattet. Ein Highligt ist das große Schlafzimmer im Dach. Der Pool ist etwas vom Haus entfernt, bietet aber Privatsphäre. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Prachtige Franse cottage

Alles aanwezig. Het zwembad, uitzicht en de tuin zijn fantastisch. Je hoeft eigenlijk niet van de locatie af. De gastheren zijn zeer hulpvol als je ze nodig hebt. Privacy ten top. Voor diegene die elektrisch rijden kun je voor een snelcharger bij de Lidl terecht in Le Bugue. Dat 4 km bergafwaarts ligt. Al met er is genoeg te zien met mooi weer. Helaas hebben wij pech gehad met regen.

Charmante demeure

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Sabine et Pascal. Le logement à beaucoup de charme, on s'y sent très bien. Le lieux est très calme et en même temps pas loin du village ou on y trouve tout ce dont on a besoin. La région est magnifique, impossible de s'y ennuyer! Pour couronner le tout les propriétaires sont adorables! Nous les remercions! Nous espérons revenir nous y ressourcer bientôt !!!

Fantastic

We had a tremendous time at Sabine and Pascal holiday home. They were most helpful in fulfilling our needs. The house has all that one requires and the garden and swimming pool are wonderful we had our own private Cuckoo singing to us daily. Gorgeous area and most relaxing.
