Acadia Explorador Rantals Cabin

La cabina se calienta. Tiene agua corriente caliente y fría. El baño está equipado con un inodoro, lavabo y ducha. La cocina incluye una cocina con horno, una campana de extracción de microondas, un refrigerador grande, cafetera, tabla que se retira para dar cabida a más de ajuste y 4 sillas y una arandela apilada / secadora. Los arreglos para dormir cabida a 6 personas con una cama queen size en el dormitorio, un sofá cama que se saca en una cama queen size y hay 2 camas individuales en el altillo. También para su disfrute hemos agregado TV vía satélite. La cabina tiene una malla en porche con una pequeña mesa y 2 sillas. Hay una parrilla de barbacoa y una mesa de picnic en una carpa blindado. También tenemos un pequeño hoyo hoguera patio y sillas plegables exterior para disfrute de la noche.
La cabina incluye suministros de cocina (ollas, sartenes y utensilios), así como platos, cuencos, vasos, cucharas, tenedores y cuchillos. También suministra son toallas de baño, toallas de mano y cara la ropa, así como toallas de papel y papel higiénico. También suministramos ropa de cama, sábanas, mantas (uno por cama), fundas de almohadas y cojines. Sólo tiene que traer su ropa, alimentos y alquileres actitudes. La hora de registro es el sábado a las 14:00 y la salida es a las 11 am el sábado siguiente. Tiempo de silencio comienza a las 21:00. La cabina es para no fumadores. Habrá latas 'a tope' para los fumadores a usar fuera. Fumar en el interior se traducirá en una tarifa de limpieza. Le pedimos que mantenga a sus mascotas en su casa por varias razones, las mentes de la tierra 'que dejan atrás y alergias otro huésped puede tener.

Our family had a wonderful time at this cabin. It was exactly as advertised and fit out four children perfectly. They especially loved playing Cornhole in the evening. We are already talking about planning a return trip!

We had a wonderful week in Acadia! Rob and Marj are stellar hosts and the cabin had everything we needed. This was our second time staying with them and it was perfect for us! :)

Loved Everything! Nothing like hiking right into Acadia from the back yard. Kids loved the loft and the sofa couch. We were also very pleasantly surprised when we learned they had an EV car charger we could use.We hope to come again, but maybe for 2 weeks next time, one week is just not enough time.

Quiet stay

We had a great stay. The cabin is in a quiet area. The gas grill and fire ring for campfires is a plus. The cabin was clean and had plenty of space. It is a quick drive into town and a short drive to everything in Acadia.

Wonderful Acadia Cabin

This is a perfectly appointed cabin for a family trip to Acacdia! You can walk right to a trail that leads to Long Pond and the cabin is clean and bright. We hope to be back one day.

Perfect Cabin

Exactly as it looks in the pictures, the cabin was clean and well stocked with all the basics. An added plus is that you can access trails in Acadia NP from the cabin. Enjoyed our stay, even though it rained every day. Would stay there again.

Best place to relax!

We love to camp in Maine and this cabin is like the best campsite with a sweet house. We hiked on the trail right next to it and thoroughly enjoyed the peace, quiet and privacy. This is our third time renting this cabin and Rob and Marj are the best. Loved every minute of our time here!

Absolutely amazing

We absolutely love everything about this cabin. Privacy, distance to some great trails, restaurants and gift shops. We are already thinking about booking for 2020. Highly recommend.

Great, quiet spot near SW Harbor Center

The cabin is clean and perfect for an active family of 5. The “grass” is moss and the grounds are so pretty. You can hike Acadia right off property! I always do laundry on vacation and the stacked appliances were great!

Quaint cabin on the edge of Acadia

The cabin was very clean and spacious. It was great having linen and some basic supplies available, including firewood! The host greeted us in arrival and was available if we needed him. The best part was being able to walk out of yiur cabin and access Acadia trails.

My week at Acadia National Park was amazing and this quaint cabin, which is steps from the park itself and trails, was everything as listed. It was clean, newer and quiet. I was on a solo trip, but it could easily sleep 4 or 6 people with the loft. The inside is roomy with a single bathroom with shower and a full kitchen, and the outside offered a grill and fire pit (stocked plentifully with wood to burn). It's about a 10 minute drive to the nearest town and is on the quieter side of the island, Bar Harbor is about a 30-minute easy drive. There are 2 other cabins on the property along with the owner's home, but they are well spaced apart that they feel well separated; Cabin 2 is the most secluded from the others. If I ever get back to Maine I will be booking again. Thanks to Tom for his hospitality.

Wow! What can I say. This property that Rob and Marj have created is an absolute must if you want both privacy and accessibility to what Acadia and Mount Desert Island bave to offer. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

The cabin was as advertised and as pictured! It is in the woods, but has everything you need. Everything is clean and works well, including the Weber Grill outside. We will stay here again when we go back to Southwest Harbor in a couple of years. Thank you, Rob!

Fantastic Stay

This property is fantastic. The cabin was clean upon arrival and well stocked with all the essentials. My family (two adults + 3 kids) had plenty of space. The location is secluded but close enough to Southwest Harbor that you can run into town for groceries, shopping, etc. The outdoor area around the cabin is amazing, with plenty of space for the kids to explore, a fire pit, grill, and direct access to Acadia trails! We would definitely stay here again.

Immaculate!

The cabin was so clean and comfortable for my three children and I. We loved that the cabin was secluded and right on the Acadia trail system. It was nice to go for a hike in the morning as others in our group were able to sleep in. We had a great time and Rob and Marg were attentive and hospitable hosts. Rob even set up a lobster pot for us to use for our fresh lobster dinner. Overall a wonderful experience and I highly recommend.

Wonderful family vaca on the “Quiet Side” of Mt. Desert Island

We had a wonderful vacation at Marj and Rob’s cabin! Perfect for a family of four. Easy to get to anything we wanted to do from hiking, lobstering, kayaking, restaurants or just swimming in lakes or the ocean. Cabin has all you need to unplug from your daily routine and enjoy each other and all Bar Harbor and Acadia have to offer. Rob and Marj had great recommendations and are wonderful hosts. Wanted to stay longer. We will be back!

Fantastic forest cabin!

This property is the perfect resting spot to base a trip to Acadia National Park! For our family of 4, the cabin was spacious and had all the necessities including a great washer and dryer, full kitchen, and warm shower. We loved the fire pit and appreciated that the owners had kindling, logs, and even a marshmallow roasting stick carved and ready to go! The cabin is tucked in a forested area and literally backs to some excellent hiking trails on the quiet side of Acadia. Highly recommend! We would stay here again in a heartbeat if our travels bring us back to MDI!

We live on the property about 300 feet from the cabin. We built the cabin from a log kit, started in 2012 and finished in June 2013 for the rental season.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This cabin was finished this year, 2013. It measures 20' x 30 and features a separate bedroom, a sleeping loft, a separate bathroom, a full size kitchen and a screened in deck. It is nestled in a wooded area at a 1/4 from the base of Mansel Mountain on the ‘Quiet Side’ of the Island, within 500 feet from the owners residence, and 300 feet form cabin 1and 3 and the nearest neighbor and only 3 miles to the center of town. There is private access to hiking and bicycling trails using your own entrance to Acadia National Park, right outside your front door. Within a short driving distance there are swimming, deep sea and fresh water fishing, canoeing, kayaking and boat rentals. There are also other recreations such as golf, tennis, horseback riding, Whale Watching cruises, glider rides, Park guided tours, bird watching, lighthouse tours and galleries within a short driving distance.
