My mom and I have come back to this property several times over the last number of years and we still love it as much as ever. There is no place quite like Mt. Gretna and we especially enjoy the cottage's amazing wrap around porch.

We love the warmth and the coziness of the cottage! The front porch was an added treat. Cory was a great host and kept in contact with us. Only issue we had was parking our Dodge Ram truck but we just used parking lot below which was in walking distance. LOVED THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE!!

Once again the house did not disappoint. The house is so clean, well appointed and comfortable. The beds are a dream to sleep in and there are plenty of pillows. It is so relaxing and honey. As soon as you walk in you feel all the stress drifting away. And the porch!!! We ate breakfast out there every morning it’s so wonderful. Cory is wonderful. We had a family emergency and had to keep changing the date. He was super accommodating and checked on us after a bad thunder storm. His house was so solid during the storm we barely heard it. If you want to stay in MT Gretna this is THE place to stay!!! We will be back yet again! Oh and having parking right next to the house is a big plus!!!

Perfect for our family of 4. Comfortable beds, full kitchen, beautiful porch, unique area. We loved our stay and would definitely love to come back.

This is our 4th time here and it never disappoints! We love the house and the neighborhood and that its just around the corner from the Tabernacle! Great place to relax, especially on the wonderful wide porch!

Super relaxing stay

This house is a great little place to stay in central PA. The patio was a great place to hang out. The house has all of the amenities as described. Fast Wi-Fi, comfy chairs, a well appointed kitchen... Mt Gretna itself is a quaint little community with tons of charm.

Perfect quiet getaway for a busy family to focus on relaxing.

Quiet neighborhood filled with the sound of birds and breezes. Very walkable with convenience of nearby eateries and shops. Outdoor space is so inviting and usable. Wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect for an unstructured getaway.

Wonderful Experience Once Again!

This was the second time my mom and I stayed here and we loved it more than ever. Our favorite part is the huge wrap around porch which is where we spent most of our time. Mt. Gretna is a very special place and we are hoping to return many times to this cottage!

Magical Place

Once again we were not disappointed! The town is lovely, the house charming and our hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with. My mom and I had a wonderful time! The porch was our favorite place to be!

Wonderful visit

We have always wanted to stay in Mt Gretna while visiting and this was the perfect spot! The cottage was adorable and the owners were great at providing instructions for parking, gaining entry, etc. We swam in the lake, wandered the trails in search of fairy gardens, enjoyed the jigger shop for ice cream, and saw an adorable show for the kids while there. We will certainly come back again!

Very nice location in a warm and welcoming community. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. Local plays and music venue and restaurants easy to walk to. Hosts extremely accommodating and accessible.

This house was in an adorable neighborhood close to everything that Mt.Gretna has to offer. We loved being able to walk around the neighborhood and enjoy the sights. The house was perfect for us and we had a great time being there and being on the porch! Thank you!

Great place for relaxing and exploring a small community in the woods

The hosts were super responsive to questions and made check-in super easy. Cottage was small and old but well-maintained and very nice. There was even bug spray on the porch for our use. We loved it. Just FYI - there is no hot tub, in case that's in the listing, it is a mistake.

Quaint. Quiet. Beautiful

Sit on porch for breakfast in the cool morning. Beautiful cottage with comfortable beds! Neighbors were friendly and inviting. Basketball court playground in walking distance. This was the perfect spot to forget the world, relax, and enjoy the scenery. Stroll through the area. Ice cream not too far from cottage and you can fish if you want. I will be back again! Thank you for having me! Enjoyed every minute of time well spent!

Quiet Respite

This charming cottage is comfortably furnished and supplies what you need for a week away from home. The updated kitchen and bathroom allow you the comforts of home, while enjoying the rustic feel of a Mt. Gretna cottage. Located in a quiet area, it boasts an expansive porch with 2 swings, a table for outdoor meals and a cozy seating area. WIFI worked well for our multiple needs. In addition to meandering walks around Mt. Gretna , we enjoyed walks in some local parks including to the observation tower at Governor Dick. In close proximity we also enjoyed the alpaca farm and Patches ice cream and well as Cornwall Furnace (museum not open during pandemic).

Close Home to others

Overall this house was very nice. There is only 1 parking spot so if you are traveling with friends/family. One can park near the house the others will park in a gravel lot close by. The roads are very tight and a lot of the roads are one-way so make sure you pay attention to the signs. The people who live around there are very nice and will help you if you get lost in the small community. The home itself is older but very nice. The 3 rooms are on the top floor and the 1st floor has the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The porch outside is so nice with the swings and fans it's a cool place to hang out. My only warning is if you are on the clumsy side please be careful on the stairs. Just take it slow or sideways and that's the best way to go up and down.

Wonderful Family House in the Perfect “Location

This is a wonderful home. The house is so comfortable and the bed rooms are great. The bathroom is very very nice and large. There are air conditioners in every room which makes it great on hot summer days. The best part is the porch. It is so large and comfortable. It also has ceiling fans. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare the perfect meal. A full size refrigerator/freezer is a big plus. Everything is provided such as towels and sheets. The house is super clean and tidy. The location is near enough to a basketball court and small playground for children old enough to go on their own. The neighbors were wonderful. The hosts were the best we have found from a VRBO rental. They keep in contact before the trip. Upon arrival they check with you once you check in to ensure everything is what you expected. They are so kind and caring. The house has plenty of board games the whole family will love. Over all this is one of the best properties we have stayed at, if not the best. We will be staying here again!

Mt Gretna Getaway

Very quaint and exceptionally quite. It was like stepping back in time 100 years ago. We had coffee on the porch every morning before our adventures and then a glass of wine every evening after our adventures. Very peaceful and tranquil. Neighbors were very friendly throughout the stay. Would strongly recommend
