The house was clean and the view was exceptional. The host was very responsive and very accommodating when we had a family emergency. We would stay there again.

We were three old friends on a week-long getaway, and this beautiful coastal home was the perfect spot. The listing description is accurate—stunning views from nearly every room, three very comfortable beds, and 2.5 bathrooms that made sharing the space easy.The living room was cozy and inviting, ideal for long chats and evenings watching TV. The kitchen was spacious and well-stocked, which made cooking together a breeze. The area was quiet and peaceful (week before Labor Day Holiday), with easy access from the house to the beach.Overall, this is a wonderful place to relax, reconnect, and take in the beauty of the Oregon coast. We saw deer, birds, and even a whale from the back deck. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in Port Orford. The house was fantastic, very comfortable for our family of five. We loved the ocean views from the house and the decks. And the beach was beautiful, empty, and easy to access. We did not want to leave!

Really wonderful stay, we love it here! The location and ocean sounds are incredible. It was quiet and peaceful. Allison was very communicative and accommodating. Despite the no pets policy, it did smell like dog in the house. There was a car parked in the garage so we couldn’t use it, unfortunately. But, overall our stay was amazing and we would definitely come back again!

Pictures don’t do it justice

Beautiful, unique house that is perfectly situated on the beach. The pictures don’t do it justice; both the interior and exterior are better than advertised. Check-in process was unusual in that you have to text the host to be let in. After that, everything was straightforward. The host is responsive but errs on the side of overcommunication, checking in every few days. Be aware that the house is obviously lived in by the owners, so there are things like off-limits cupboards, food in the freezer, things in the medicine cabinet, etc. There was also a car in the garage during our stay, so we weren’t able to park there. The listing indicates garage parking available, so this was disappointing and odd.The beds and rooms are comfortable, although the fourth room (“kids bunk room”) is a bit of a dungeon that is disconnected from the rest of the house by the garage and two flights of stairs. We didn’t use this room, but if we had, anybody relegated there would be getting the short end of the stick. All three rooms in the main house, and their decks, are amazing and have tremendous views. The bunk bed upstairs is the best bed in the house. The kitchen is cute, but the cookware/dishes were a grab bag. The living room and the projector entertainment system are awesome.Overall, an extraordinary place to stay, but the experience was less polished than it should be for the high price.

Gotta Love Port Orford

Here in Port Orford to film a TV show about commercial fishing. Crew of 4 adults. The house was exceptional. Great views. Everything in working order and the host was very responsive. We stay in VRBOs all over the world and avoid hotels whenever possible. Much better for everyone and we save money. We'll be back here!

Amazing Location & Views

Beautiful well stocked home, great sleeping arrangements! Host was very communicative, although sometime a little too much. Check in/out process was a little rough. Check in was requested to give an exact time which was difficult in traveling from another state. Check out procedures were different than listed in the book of information. Home also states no pets, however the floor was incredibly dirty and covered in dog hair, which from the pictures on the wall they are the hosts dogs, this caused an issue for one of our guests who is highly allergic to dogs. Overall great home.

Family Girls Trip

The Glas House was Perfect! I brought my Daughters and Daughters in law for a little R and R. And we had a Relaxing week away from it all! The house was super comfy, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals in. And though we did not meet Allison was quick to respond to texts and Very Helpful with any requests. Also, the Beach was just a short walk out the back door! We would Love to stay here again with the rest of the Family

Peaceful with stunning views

We really enjoyed the location on the beach here, and could easily walk along the beach for miles from the house. Large picture windows provide stunning views from most rooms in the house, and decks on 3 levels make it easy to step outside into fresh ocean air. We were comfortable and had what we needed, with plenty of space in the house. The host, Allison, was courteous and responsive.

Great location

Wonderful house in a perfect and very peaceful location... this part of the Oregon coast feels untouched and wild. House is right on the beach and Short drive to town restaurants. Gorgeous views from 2 of the bedrooms. Will rent again!

Excellent - Great location - Very quiet and peaceful

Our favorite rental during our trip to Oregon. Excellent location and very peaceful. The house is very well stocked for anything you may need. Loved that we were so close to the beach. The kids loved going to the beach and explore. They saw to sea lions and even gave one a name. LOL Allison and her caretaker were wonderful. We had a minor issue and they responded very quickly and had it resolved. Allison shared so many wonderful suggestions/tips for our son's birthday to be memoriable. Strongly recommend horseback riding on the beach in Bandon.

Loved how this place is walking distance to the beach,the scenery is amazing! The accommodations is great everything we need and for hanging out at the house, Gold Beach is just a short way down the road is a small town but very enjoyable.

Our new happy place

We found our new happy place. The house is clean, modern, perfectly located in the heart of the Oregon Coast. Visions of ocean sunsets and full moons visible from the comfort of our balcony will float through my mind for a lifetime. Host was extremely communicative, helpful, accommodating and gracious. Wonderful stay!

The beach house was wonderful! It had everything we needed and was a great home base for exploring the Southern coast of Oregon. The area has plenty of options with hiking, whale watching (saw a grey whale from our beach), a trip to the redwoods, tide-pooling, and agate hunting to name a few. Port Orford and proximal cities have excellent restaurants. The house was very beautiful and clean with efficient use of living space. The ocean, just out your back door, can be seen from almost any room in the house. Our kids especially enjoyed the projector screen TV (which was awesome!!). The owner was great to answer any questions and offer helpful suggestions.
