Located on the Northern bay of Cayuga Lake. Breathtaking sunset views with fantastic fishing. You can fish right off the dock or bring your boat for full access to this 38 mile long lake-Ice fish in the winter just a few miles from our location. Pleasure boating is prevalent in the warmer months-we are within a mile of the Sandbar and approx. 7 miles from the "Cove" in Union Springs. House is located within minutes of wineries & restaurants. Less than 7 miles from Casino, 10 miles from Premium Outlets & 15 miles from the Spa at the Inns of Aurora. Outdoor fire pit & indoor wood burning fireplace. Bamboo hardwood floors throughout the house. Remodeled bathrooms & kitchen. Stainless steel appliances. Brand new outdoor deck with gas grill overlooks the Lake. Wildlife abounds with fish, birds(Osprey, Cranes, Eagles) frequently seen. Great family get away on Cayuga Lake with tremendous views of Sunset Bay. Cayuga Lake is an incredible two-story fishing lake that supports bass, pike and panfish in its weedy shallows, as well as several species of trout and salmon in its colder depths.

This lovely cottage was in a great central area... close eniugh to to some wineries, a cheese tasting barn, Montezuma Nature Preserve and beautiful scenery!!!!

Great comfortable stay!

This vacation house is very comfortable and clean. Very close to many great restaurants. Beds are very comfortable and I usually don’t sleep well when not in my own bed. Great views and very quiet. If you are looking for a quiet comfy vacation this is the place.

The house was very nicely remodeled. There was plenty of room for 7 people. The view from the spacious deck was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay.

May Stay

Wonderful location on the shores with a sunset view. Home was clean and plenty of space for 4 adults. A bit closer to a main road than we knew however the location to have day trips was perfect.

Thank you for your review. Yes, place is located on main highway, however, the back is secluded from the front with back deck, bay views and amazing sunsets. Day trips are perfect for this location being located to Seneca Falls, Ithaca, Union Springs, Auburn and Syracuse. Thank you for selecting our home for your stay. Lovely cottage that was well equipped and conveniently located on the lake for fishing and touring. The sunset views from the deck are spectacular. The owner was easy to contact and made sure we had a great stay.

Perfect Lakeside Cottage!

Updated and well appointed house for our family vacation! We were able to easily dock our bass boat for fishing and exploring the lake. The canoe was great for a relaxing paddle around the bay. Close to Montezuma Wildlife Refuge, hiking, and wineries. Beautiful sunsets too! We enjoyed our stay!

Family lake vacation

We enjoyed a very relaxing week on Cayuga Lake. The house was well equipped and maintained, just the right size for our family of 5 adults and a 1-year-old. Katrinka was very responsive to the few questions we had. The location was very convenient to anything we wanted to do in the area. We'd definitely stay here again.

Cayuga cottage

The house was quite nice, the setting was very nice. Lots of interesting things in the area. One thing to note – there isn’t good swimming at the house, it’s very reedy.

There is a great swimming spot less than 5 minutes from the home that is available for public use. You are correct -there are lots of interesting things in see and do in the area. A great, totally clean and bright home on the east side of Cayuga Lake in the Finger Lakes. A great location for our party of four — 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, plenty of space at the table and good kitchen equipment. We traveled both north and south - up to Soders Point on Lake Ontario and south to Watkins Glen on Seneca and south again to Ithaca. We Highly recommend Max’s Ice Cream. The host was easy to reach and helpful, both before and during the trip. You’ll want to stay here if you relish cool morning on the patio and sunset views.

Sunset Spectacular

Very modern and comfortable. Nice backyard deck and nice lawn. Very close to the Montezuma wildlife area. Enjoyed our stay. Greatly enjoyed the beautiful sets. The owner was easy to work with and very responsive.

Extraordinary sunsets !

Stayed for a few days with visiting family while checking out wine, cheese , the sights of the finger lakes and a day trip to chimney bluff. Owner was very responsive, the cottage was well appointed for 5 adults, and we made the most of the deck for happy hour watching those gorgeous sunsets !

Great location, close to everything, awesome sunsets

I stayed here for a week with my family.... spouse and our 2 adult children. Very nice and comfortable with new furnishings and appliances. Gorgeous sunsets while sitting out back on the dock or by the fire ring. We enjoyed hiking to various nearby waterfalls and visiting local wineries and museums. We highly recommend this property.

Quaint, clean, beautiful home in perfect location.

We had a wonderful long weekend in this beautiful home. It was extremely clean with every amenity we could ask for, and the location was perfect - in close proximity to many wineries, grocery shopping and many other attractions of note. The setting was serene, with a stunning view of the lake and plenty of outdoor space in which to enjoy the evening sunset. Thank you for making our visit so wonderful with your welcoming, charming rental!

Long weekend

The house was extremely clean, decorated beautifully, and close (driving) to everything! The only thing we noticed was that there wasn’t a carbon monoxide detector that we saw. I would definitely rent this place again. It was perfect for 2 couples!

Beautiful Finger Lakes home

What a wonderful house. We had 3 adults and a toddler and had ample space for all of us. Complimentary bottle of wine, Keurig, well stocked kitchen, linens, towels, board games (our son loved the Yahtzee dice and connect four), tv, and more. Beautiful sunsets over Cayuga lake and a nice little yard to play in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

Loved the sunsets

My siblings and i havent all been together in 5 1/2 years. This was a great place near our hometown to gather and visit. It made me happy and I'm sure it made our mom happy. Thanks for a comfortable spot. Lots of beautiful sunsets and relaxing. Loved it.

Great House

Home and amenities were wonderful. House was clean and welcoming. Couple of screens missing from the windows and the weather was perfect for open windows. We had 2 boats which were well accommodated with dock size. Neighbors are close but very kind and helpful. Communication leading up to the week was great. We would recommend and hope to stay again in the future.
