We had such a great stay at this property! I loved the way the rooms were all separated on different sides of the house, as we stayed there with another couple. The pool area with the lounger chairs was so nice! Perfect for getting sun! We even saw dolphins in the canal one day. I would definitely stay here again. Everything was perfect! What an enjoyable stay.

The house was immaculate! Just like the picture showed! The neighborhood was so quiet and the neighbors were very kind! The location was perfect so close to everything we needed! The sunsets were beautiful on the lanai! My 10 year old grandson loved the pool and the fact that there were fishing poles there for him to use and access to water! We are looking forward to our next time there!!!

I spoke to our Host one time, and that was when I first arrived, and I did so just so she knew we made it. She was exceptionally courteous and made us feel welcome immediately. I wish I could say I had more interactions with her but truth be told everything at this property was absolutely perfect, and I sincerely mean that. This was the first time in 8 years that we stayed at a property and did not have some sort of problem. Everything was clean, neat, tidy, and in it's place. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We did nothing but enjoy our time there. Just a great week.

Relaxing setting

Pool was exceptional, we loved it!!!! House was beautiful and I loved the decor! Only downfall it is not close to beaches a 30 to 45 minute drive for sure. But we very much enjoyed our stay😊

The house us beautiful and set up nicely. We really enjoyed the pool and location to everything in Cape Coral and Ft Myers to see manatees this time of year! Ines was very helpful and quick to reply to us. We would definitely recommend this house!

Great location

Location and views were wonderful. Upon arrival the back slider was off track so when opening/closing door the handle came off. I was able to get the door back on track and no further issues. Nice home. Two owls hung around the front door that were fun to watch.

A wonderful vacation!

The house was clean, fully equipped and located in a very peaceful setting. It's location was ideal for the activities we wanted to take part in....a quick and easy drive to beaches, restaurants, & parks. When we chose to stay "at home," the Lanai and pool were a perfect place to hang out, enjoy the sun, grill dinner, and have an evening cocktail. We would definitely consider this home again. Inez was was extremely helpful and accommodating and encouraged us to contact her with any thing that was not right.

Recent stay 3/26 - 4/3

We absolutely loved this property and would loved to have stayed here again next Spring, but it is such a gem it is all booked up already, unfortunately for us. We were able to book it again in Oct. and can not wait to get back. It made leaving there easy knowing we would be back in a few months. The home was spacious, clean and we loved the location. The pool area was amazing along with the beautiful sunsets. We had text the home owner a couple times and her replies were prompt and helpful.

Excellent, clean, well appointed.

Very clean and well appointed older property. Has all the items needed for pretty much everything! My wife and I stayed for a week. Quiet neighborhood on a quiet canal. Very nice pool, lanai with plenty of chairs and nice grill. I texted Ines a couple times and she was very responsive. This property is not palatial by any means but VERY functional!

Good location, layout of property is good. House needs maintenance and updating. Not enough room in garage for our car due to the car, motorcycle and varoius other items taking up so much space. Jacuzzi is a soaking tub only.

Meeting a new cousin

The location was great. The house was nice and decorated nice. The AC would not cool the house lower than 83 degrees. At night the house was unbearably hot. We did notify the property manager who had someone come look at the AC, but said they said it was working as well as possible.

Vacation guests called after arrival about the AC and the problem that the temperature was F 83 in the house. The property manager sent the AC company out and the AC company arrived 2 hours after the call. The technical found out that the drain line was blocked what can happen in the summer time by high temperatures. He cleaned the drain line and tested the system also sent a picture from the thermostat. The system was running a cooling down. The property management is always available when guests have questions or complains and in this case they never got a call that they are uncomfortable with the temperature or AC. After check out the system was tested by property manager and cooling down.

A Nice Getaway

The property was nice and clean. The only downside is the attached sitting pool. We were hoping for an acutal hottub/jacuzzi. It was ok however. The property was comfortable. Good curb appeal and the appearance of a safe area on the street the property was on. The neighborhood had loads of foot traffic that made it interesting coming and going. We had a small child run out in front of our vehicle.Luckily I was able to stop in time. They were likely a local resident. I will definity book again, just probably a different property.

Quiet, clean, spacious, as advertised. Pool was great.

We were lucky enough to have perfect weather for our entire stay. The house was clean, open, and bright with lots of room. The pool was great and relaxing. The garage was a bit tight for a vehicle as there was a car and other things stored there. We did have to purchase additional supplies such as trash bags(only 2 in kitchen available), laundry supplies, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, foil and plastic wrap. We were charged nearly 2.5 times the allowance, additional for electric, . As there were only 4 of us and we did not use anything to excess, rarely had the television on, ran dishwasher twice, maybe 4 loads of laundry (mostly towels), turned down the heat setting on the pool, set the AC at 78. it seems that the electric allowance was extremely low and no chance of covering the electric for reasonable usage.

Thank you for the positive rating. It's nice to hear that you had a good time in Florida. As can be seen in the contract, we included free electricity for $35.00 for every week. Unfortunately, after the hurricane, the electricity company raised our electricity prices by more than 50 % to cover among other things, the reconstruction of the power grid. Since you had the pool heater on the whole time during your stay, the additional electricity costs are due to this.We try to be fair not to raise our rental price despite inflation, cover part of the electricity costs but cannot cover all electricity costs. Thus, each tenant can determine for themself which temperature of the pool is preferred and how the temperature in the house is comfortable. Thank you for being our guests and we hope seeing you back!

Oasis on the Canal

The property was amazing and literally as described. Lodging during Covid is a totally different experience, however the amenities within the home will make you feel comfy, just be sure to bring your personal Lysol and Clorox Products. The only cleanliness issue that was a very small problem were cob webs along the Lanai and high and low corners. Easy fix if you aren't afraid! Neighbors are friendly and everyones seems to look out for one another and that was very refreshing. Everything you could possibly need is within a 5-10 min drive. Beaches are of course not the bluest but fun in the sun is definitely attainable. Sun Splash Water Park was a hit for the kids, and if all fails... wake up to beautiful scenery along the lanai and canal and jump in the pool when you're done eating. Oh! And the beautiful Avocado Tree is to die for as well! Hassle Free Booking, Contactless Check-In are all best! Ines was wonderful and we will be utilizing Florida Vacation Homes during all of our time in Florida.

great week but left on sour note

It is a very nice place and was well stocked with kitchen necessities. It must be rented to many Germans since that was the language of the TV and many of the instructions. That was not problem. After we left we were notified that our security deposit was being charged because we scratched the floor from moving the coffee table in front of the TV. I don't know about everyone else, but I do move these when I use it to eat or whatever. I would guess this glass table weighed about 70 lbs and the feet were metal. I would have thought that the owners would have had the sense to put foot protectors on the legs. It never occurred to me that the table was not supposed to be moved. So renters beware, they do a thorough inspection when you leave.

Thank you for your rating. The house is a vacation rental over some years. We never had a damage in all this time. Also nobody moved the heavy coffee table in the living room before to eat on this place. We have in this property 2 living-room tables. We had bad, long scratches in the floor and we send the prictures already.

Vacation

The house itself was good.. pretty good location. We enjoyed the pool and did appreciate washer/dryer and dishwasher. You provide your own soap though for those items. We liked the Publix close by and got needed items there. The bed was average and the pillows need to be replaced. Had several contacts with the office manager Ines and she was good to work with. Unfortunately, one of the contacts was because the owner accused us of having people stay the night than actually were. We rented a 6 person house. My husband and I stayed every night and we got pre approved for an additional couple to stay one night. They used the cameras while we were staying there to accuse us of having extra people stay which was not the case. We were really disappointed by this. We felt on edge after this and didn't feel comfortable at the house anymore. You do also only get allowed a certain amount of energy used within the house so we were charged $50.00 additional for this. We didn't have many lights on and weren't even at the house 1 1/2 days of the week we stayed. Overall, it was OK but we won't be staying here again.

Thank you for your review. Good to hear you like the house and the location. We have only a ring doorbell camara in the entrance aria witch is active. After the property owner ask me about so much activity in the house I gave you a call and ask about. In my opinion we had a good converstation and you told me you had family and friends over witch are living in Cape. Told you that will be okay. In the rental contract is $ 35.00 electricity fee a week, we have an extra charge by overuse $ 0.15 for a kWh so you know about it. We always make a picture on arrival day and departure from the meter. I am sorry to hear that you and your family do not want to stay again. Thank you for staying and I gave you 5 stars. Ines
