Casa Milagrosa A private one bedroom casita with views overlooking Tucson

Casa Milagrosa is your own private getaway on the east side of Tucson. It is located near Agua Caliente Canyon and overlooks the vast Tucson Valley and sloping mountainside of the Santa Catalina Mountains.

The Casita features tasteful Southwestern decor with a spacious living room, fireplace, kitchenette, bedroom with a queen sized bed and full bath. Our guests feel the serenity of the Sonoran Desert, while enjoying the beauty of the surrounding mountains and star-filled nights from their private porch. The Casita is roughly 25 minutes from Downtown Tucson and the University of Arizona. There are several golf courses nearby, including The Arizona National Golf Club, a Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed course ranked in the top 25 of all public courses in Arizona. The Casita is close enough to shopping and grocery stores to be convenient, yet far enough to escape the crowds. There are great restaurants and grocery shopping within 10 minutes of the Casita.

Visitors have access to a heated outdoor salt water spa and fireplace that is privately located across the driveway at the main house. There is also an outdoor propane BBQ in front of the Casita. If you like hiking, trails are within steps of your front door, the trails range in length and difficulty. The Casita offers hiking access to the Aqua Caliente Canyon that will lead you to pools of water and a perfect place for a picnic, or if you prefer, Milagrosa Canyon is a short 20 minute hike. The Milagrosa Falls boast a triple waterfall that can be seen running during the rainy season.

The Casita is equipped with washer and dryer, iron, ironing board, Smart TV, Wi-Fi, linens, towels, dishes, glassware, silverware, microwave, hot plate, refrigerator with small freezer, Keurig Coffee maker and more. RV and Trailer parking are also available.

Casa Milagrosa is a truly peaceful and serene getaway. We are excited to have you as our guests. If you’ve come to golf, hike, relax or visit many of the things Tucson has to offer such as the Sonoran Desert Museum, the Air and Space Museum, Mount Lemmon, you will not be disappointed.

This is an adorable Casita. Very well appointed & decorated. The landscape is gorgeous with lots of wildlife to see. Comfy bed;very nice bath; comfy couch & lots of choices on the tv. And...CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!

Peaceful times in a beautiful place

Great place for our interests: nature at the door step with birds of many varieties and hiking trails beginning 100 yards away. No traffic. Great views of mountains, sunsets and night sky.

Beautiful casita, top notch host!

First time to stay in Tucson! This property is outside of town so a bit of a drive to Old Tucson and the Sonoran Desert Museum, but just minutes away from the route to Mt Lemmon. All of those things are must see! The casita was thoughtfully equipped with toiletries, coffee, etc. we loved our stay and would definitely stay again if we return to Tucson!

25th Anniversary get away

Extremely quiet and beautiful area. Very clean, well decorated, and comfy. The weather was extremely hot but the air conditioning inside kept us cool. Just a short 20 minute drive to most things in Tucson.

Great weekend getaway in the Sonoran desert

Judy and Ramon are wonderful hosts! The casita is absolutely adorable and photos do not do it justice! It's at the foothills for the Catalinas and surrounded by the saguaros. Exactly what we were looking for in a long weekend stay. The hosts have thought of everything, truly all you need to bring is your personal items and food if you so choose. We cannot wait to come back!

Desert vacation

Came to hike and see the Sonoran desert. Never been to the area before. Wonderful house and location. The hot tube spa was difficult to get heated in the mornings, in the end we just communicated with the hosts who always helped us. The last two nights in the spa with the fire watching the sunset were amazing. Great location for hikes too. Was all as expected.

Amazing spot, Fantastic Casita!

We stayed here for 4 weeks & totally enjoyed every aspect of this visit. The Casita is so lovely & comfortable: the kitchenette, though small, had everything one could need to prepare & cook. The surrounding area of lovely homes and gorgeous mountains makes this a place you should not miss out on. The hosts were attentive but never invaded one’s personal space. We highly recommend this place & we look forward to our next visit, because, there will be on! Thank you, Ramon & Judy!

Sonoran Desert Oasis

If you are looking to treat yourself to a first-class lodging experience, don't wait to book this special place! The owners have thought of every little detail and provided all the comforts you could think of. The hot tub is incredible and controlled by a phone app which we thought was really cool. The sunsets were colorful from the front porch. The casita is well-designed and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed hiking in Saguaro and mountain biking in Catalina. I could go on but you get the idea. Five stars all around!

Serene Property Surrounded by Scenery

If you're looking to get away from it all...look no further. This casita is in a prime location to see the best of Tucson. You'll be surrounded by the grand peaks of the Santa Catalina range and the iconic Saguaro National Park. From the front porch you'll be treated to world-class Arizona sunsets. The hosts were welcoming, accomodating, and prompt. They also clearly have good taste; the casita itself is in impeccable condition and decorated with classic Southwestern decor. Charming, cozy, comfortable, quiet, and equppied with more extra amenities than most rental properties. Did I mention epic local hiking trails right out your door? Overall, this was the best experience I've ever had using VRBO. Book this gem of the desert while you can!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The casita was clean and comfortable. Lots of hot water for a good soaking bath. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the porch both in the morning and at night. Love the layout of the casita and the front porch. Having use of a washer and dryer was a definite plus. We would definitely stay there again.

Quiet Getaway

If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is for you. I work in Seattle, so it is constant noise from sirens, freight trains going by, traffic... you name it! Casa Milagrosa was everything I needed to unwind a bit. It's close to shopping and downtown activities. The tourist spots are relatively easy to get to also. The mountain views are calming and watching the sunset with a glass of Arizona wine can't be beat! I cannot reccomend Casa Milagrosa enough!
