The apartment is located in the city center and offers 195m² living space on 2 floors with 48m² outdoor area, divided into a large terrace and a balcony. The penthouse offers views over the entire city. From the tower room and from the balcony you can see the Statue of Liberty, the Castle District, the Parliament, the Basilica and a beautiful sunset over the Buda hills. 3.5 rooms, the apartment can accommodate up to 7 people, all rooms with air conditioning. Alno designer kitchen with cooking island offers the highest standard, 2.5 baths. - Three of the bedrooms are a built-in wardrobe with a safe, parquet flooring and a balcony with double bed 180cm x 200cm. One bedroom is furnished with a single bed 90cm x 200cm. All mattresses are 7 zones innerspring, best quality, anti-allergic and washable, therefore very hygienic!

Stunning property in a superb location
Look no further if you are visiting Budapest. The apartment is exquisite, comfortable and well equipped. The only downside is you might not feel like going out and sightseeing! The owner and his team are welcoming and helpful. We will go back if we have the chance
Amazing Property with Gracious, Responsive Host
Jet-lagged and cranky, we arrived at Vincent's beautiful apartment on a terribly hot day in July. His directions and emails to enter the building were easy and spot-on. When we entered the apartment, we were wowed by the penthouse views and perfect location of the apartment. The air-conditioning in the apartment is top notch--each room and common areas has it's own unit and highly effective. His assistant was there to greet us--a wonderful woman who spoke perfect English--and helped us get settled. There are at least 2 safes for valuable in the rooms. We are VRBO/Homeaway veterans--having booked places all around the globe. This one was by far the best value and convenience. The place is just as pictured, warm and inviting and immaculately clean and well-stocked. It is two stories; the top features the extra-large living room with scenic views from three batteries of windows with one full extra large bath. The floor below features three bedrooms (one huge master bedroom, two large bedrooms) and one sleeping closet with a twin bed, the dining room, kitchen and two balconies. One balcony overlooks the beautiful street (from one of the bedrooms) and the other is a huge swanky affair, right off the dining room with a full complement of patio furniture of the best taste. There is a full bath and a half bath at this level. The 3 beds were of excellent quality (all queens) with fine linen and down comforters and firm foam mattresses. The building and neighborhood is extremely safe--a very upscale neighborhood about 3 blocks from the US Embassy. There is a grocery store (Aldi) right across the street. Budapest Bistro is just two blocks away (yum). There is also a washer/dryer, dishwasher and very large refrigerator.
The building is an architecturally significant building--one of the very few in Budapest that has a strong Art Nouveau flair. We got to meet Vincent, who is a talented architect and his passion for his work and his guest's comfort were obvious. A true pleasure to meet such a gracious host. Thank you Vincent for your hospitality! We recommend this place without reservation!
A magical place in the best of neighborhoods
One of the most beautiful buildings and apartments of Budapest. The owner/designer has thought of everything. He was a great communicator and even set us up with a terrific car company. All the people checking in and out were helpful and on time. We would definitely come back if in Budapest with our family of five!!! Thanks Vincent!
Wonderful place in the middle of the city.
We had a great experience staying in the apartment, beginning with the easy check-in process, the professional approach and friendly customer service, and the high quality and comforts of the accommodations. We would not hesitate to book a stay again for a future family trip.
Superior accomodation
We are two couples who stayed at this rental for four nights in early May 2017. This is a superior accommodation in an ideal location. From here you can walk almost everywhere of interest on the Pest side of the river. Two minute walk to Liberty Park. Seven minutes to Parliament. It is also convenient to the Metro (although the station was closed for renovations when we were there.)
The apartment is accurately presented in the photos and description on the HomeAway web site. Definitely a 5 star accommodation. Spacious, clean, well equipped, with extras, including a Nesto coffeee machine and ample pods and two bottles of wine. There is a lovely deck on the inner courtyard with a table and a small terrace on the street side, plus a penthouse with amazing views. Good restaurants and food markets in the immediate area. Vincent is a gracious host and a pleasure to talk with.
A few, minor quirks that you might want to be aware of in advance: The 3 1/2 bedrooms on the bottom floor share one large full and one very small half bathroom on the same floor. A second full, very large bathroom with a shower, toilet, bidet, and double sink are located on the floor above. The combination washer/dryer is the condenser type common in Europe – plan on it taking a very long time to dry your clothes. Smaller loads work better. Some potential accessibility issues for folks with compromised mobility - access to the apartment is via a small elevator but also involves traversing some stairs to enter the building and a half flight up or down to or from the elevator. The upstairs bathroom has a small step outside the shower that may present a trip or fall hazard if you are not aware of it.
We highly recommend this rental and would certainly book it again.
Definitely as advertised
The apartment was better than we could have hoped. Spacious, comfortable, well appointed with a beautiful private balcony and 3 and 1/2 bedrooms. It was more like a hotel in the quality of the rooms and linens as well as kitchen. We enjoyed the Nespresso machine daily.
The location was close to the transit, plenty of restaurants, markets (including a farmers market) and parks. As it was our first time in Budapest, we did many of the typical things; the thermal baths, Buda Hill, the Jewish quarter, the Terror museum, a ruin pub and the river cruise. We also just walked the neighbourhoods. After a few days, we were pretty comfortable with the area so we would just stop whenever we were hungry for a meal or snack.
We would highly recommend this apartment for people who are traveling in a group or perhaps a large family. The cost per person was definitely better than a hotel an more comfortable

The apartment is located in the city center in a famous Art Nouveau house called Bedö Haz. The building is also in many guide books again and is a destination for many tourists to admire the small museum about Art Nouveau architecture and enjoy a refreshing drink in the cafe. The situation is calm although the building in the middle of downtown is located right on the Szabadsag ter.
