The villa features six bedrooms and six bathrooms, including five bedrooms with private ensuite bathrooms and walk-in showers. A fully equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable living spaces provide plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy time together.
Outside is where El Sol La Vida truly shines. Enjoy your large private swimming pool and in-ground tiled Jacuzzi, outdoor bar and kitchen with BBQ, spacious covered palapa and shaded areas for dining and relaxing.
The property sits directly on a beautiful, uncrowded beach with private beach access. Spend your days by the pool, walk along the beach, and enjoy spectacular sunsets over the Pacific Ocean.
Daily housekeeping and pool service are included, allowing you to relax and enjoy your vacation.
Surf’s Up Café is conveniently located next door and serves breakfast and lunch Wednesday through Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

A great week on the beach

A dozen of us stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. The kitchen was well supplied, the pool and beach were great, beds were comfortable, and AC and wifi worked well. The staff, owners and their family were all very nice and helpful.

Wonderful Christmas week!

Our stay was a wonderful beach vacation for our family. The host was especially helpful, the daily housekeeping was great. A private beach and large heated pool, topped off with a gorgeous sunset every night. Enjoy!

Wonderful Vacation

This property was way above my expectations. It was super clean inside and out. The pool was crystal clear everyday. The house had everything you need to enjoy your stay. The owners and staff were super accommodating and friendly. The Surfs Up Cafe next door had excellent food and service. They will even deliver your food and drinks to the property. I would highly recommend vacationing at This property. It is well worth the price.

If I could give 10 stars I would

What an amazing experience. Where do I start? Let me first start with the owner. She is extremely helpful, kind and courteous. She went over and beyond for my family and for that I will be eternally grateful. Next I have to mention the staff. Very kind and helpful and they work hard to make the property perfect in every way. It’s clean, comfortable and inviting. As far as the property goes the view is amazing. The pool is giant and relaxing (same with jacuzzi). Next door to the property is a full service restaurant. The waiters will even serve you at the house which is a huge plus when you are Enjoying the pool and don’t want to leave. I will be staying at this property in the future. It was perfect in every way.

A wonderful getaway setting

We celebrated my mom’s 75th bday. Wanted a place with plenty of room and private pool and beach access. This place was perfect. The sound of the ocean was so relaxing…even with the kids yelling in the pool…could barely hear them and no trouble reading a book. The host was very nice. The ground keeper Ramone and housekeeper Blanca were so nice and helpful. The place is very clean and comfortable. Ramone lent us his fishing poles to do some beach fishing. It’s not a walkable area…dirt road to house but taxis came up to house. My mom is in wheelchair and can walk a bit and we had no trouble. Ramones dog Benji was a highlight…what a great pup. There are a group of wild dogs that live along the track that my niece insisted on feeding…probably not the smartest. But vacations are supposed to be an adventure…would probably not recommend walking that road. We fed them but kept our distance. Would recommend this place. If you want family time this place is for you. The cafe next door was awesome.

Originally from England, I later emigrated to Canada, where I raised my family before eventually making Mazatlán my home.
I have many years of experience welcoming guests to El Sol La Vida and enjoy helping visitors make the most of their time in Mazatlán.
I live on the property in a completely separate private apartment upstairs. My apartment is separate from all guest accommodations and guest areas. The villa, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, outdoor entertaining areas and beach access are exclusively for your group and are not shared with me.
I respect my guests’ privacy and do not use the guest areas during your stay. At the same time, I am nearby and happy to help with questions, local information or anything you may need during your visit.
My goal is simple: to give you the privacy of your own beachfront villa while being available when you need me.

Please Note
A condominium is currently under construction one lot away from the property. Construction generally takes place during normal daytime working hours, and you may occasionally hear construction noise during the day. There is no construction at night or on Sundays.

Why they chose this property

We chose this area for its beautiful beachfront location and peaceful atmosphere. The beach is generally quiet and uncrowded, yet the conveniences of Mazatlán are only a short drive away.
Surf’s Up Café is next door for breakfast and lunch, while supermarkets, shopping and restaurants are approximately 10 minutes away by car. The Golden Zone is about 20 minutes away and Centro Histórico approximately 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
We love being able to enjoy the tranquility of the beach and spectacular Pacific sunsets while still having easy access to everything Mazatlán has to offer.

What makes this property unique

El Sol La Vida offers something increasingly difficult to find in Mazatlán: a spacious private villa directly on a beautiful, uncrowded beach.
Designed for families and groups of up to 16 guests, the villa offers six bedrooms, a large private swimming pool, in-ground tiled Jacuzzi and direct beach access.
The outdoor living space is one of our favourite features, with a large covered palapa, outdoor bar and kitchen with BBQ, shaded areas and plenty of room for everyone to gather or find their own place to relax.
Wake up by the ocean, spend the day around your private pool and finish the evening watching the sun set over the Pacific.
Daily housekeeping and pool service are included, and optional personal chef and grocery services can be arranged.
It’s the combination of space, privacy, beachfront living and authentic Mazatlán charm that makes El Sol La Vida special.
