Guests have their own entrance to a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom entirely separate first floor, with living quarters including a living room, dining room and a wood burning stove. The backyard with fire pit and front yard with trampoline are shared if the owners are upstairs. House has brand new stove, washer/dryer and flooring. Camping, Hiking, Golfing, Hunting, Finishing, Skiing, Swimming and Manchester outlets are nearby. WiFi is included for your streaming/internet needs. House sits on top of the mountain with spectacular views from living room and dinning room. This is a two family house, this listing is for the lower-level house, please note that each level has its own entrance. However, backyard with fire pit and front yard are shared. close to: Emerald State Park/Emerald Lake; Manchester Designer Outlets; Dorset and Manchester; Skiing (Broomley is visible from the property); Horse Show; Hunting; Hiking; Golf and Fishing.

Great place for getaways.

First of all the place is super clean, at the same time the host is so thoughtful that we can find whatever we need in the house: when we came back from ski we use the boots/glove dryer in the hall way, at nights when we went out and explore the mountain we found flashlights and hiking poles by our hand. Full set of kitchen appliance and the all-in-one washer/ dryer is easy to use. Central ac already works fine but every room still gets a separate heater. Tv has host’s Netflix logged in. Galina has been supper responsive and helpful before checking In and during our stay. Definitely recommend this place, especially if you are staying for more than one day so you can get the full experience.

Hi, my name is Galina, I am an avid skier and enjoy hiking. My friend and I found this two split level house in 2020 during the pandemic and decided to purchase the house for our families and occasional renting. Hope your will enjoy this house as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

The views from the property are just breathtaking, there are several hikes right on the road where the house is located. We are very close to the Vermont Horse Show and VT Summer Festival, in addition to great skiing slopes (Stratton, Broomley, Magic Mountain). Lake George is about an hour drive in addition to plenty nearby Waterfalls and local lakes, as well as famous Dorset Quarry.

What makes this property unique

Please note this is a rural area, hence, you might see porcupines, bears, in addition to snakes and many kinds of bugs and beetles. Note that in October, Asian Lady bugs, seek refuge inside the house and you might see them migrating inside, hence if you have any bug phobias, please think carefully if you want to book; in addition, when it is very hot and dry outside, beetles also seek refuge inside where it's wet, so during dry weather you might see some beetles make their way inside. Again, this is a rural area and if you have any insect or animal phobias, please reconsider booking. Thank you for understanding.
