This quiet house facing south (recently renovated) combines the charm of the old with a contemporary and warm style. Located at 5 mn walk from the banks of the Rance river and at the crossroads of the Emerald Coast tourist destinations (Saint Malo train station 20 mn, Dinard 15 mn, Dinan medieval city 15 mn, Mont Saint Michel 30 mn), you will have the choice between multiple activities: swimming on the banks of the Rance river, hiking on the coastal paths (GR34), nautical activities, fishing on foot, markets.

The property is sited in a quiet village, very nicely fitted out and with thick walls which really helped with the heat experienced at the time of our visit. Everyone enjoyed being there, even though our stay was short (2 nights). The host could not have been more helpful and pleasant. Thoroughly recommended and I'd be more than happy to come and stay again.

Comfortable home, clean, quiet neighborhood. My communication with the owner was a bit confusing- but she replied immediately concerning the entry code to the property. This was a good location for touring this region of Brittany. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

J'ai été déçu, car j'avais cru à la description et aux photos. Plus précisément : 1. Je pensais que la maison avait vue sur la Rance, comme le montrent les photos. La seule vue est celle d'un important chantier en cours sur la place du village, devant la maison. La Rance n'est pas du tout proche. 2. Le joli canapé, visible sur les photos, est en réalité recouvert d'une housse beige et laide dont le retrait est interdit. 3. Deux grosses chaînes et des cadenas ne sont pas visibles sur les photos qui sont particulièrement inhospitaliers. 4. Langrolay-sur-Rance n'a pas le charme décrit dans la description (et la maison n'est pas au bord de la rivière). Il existe des centaines de villes charmantes en France, mais celle-ci n'en fait pas partie. De plus, elle est loin de tout. 5. Il y a beaucoup de règles et d'exigences. J'imagine qu'il y a eu beaucoup d'invités désordonnés. Enfin, je ne loue jamais d'endroits avec des canapés recouverts d'une housse, et si j'avais été au courant des travaux juste à l'extérieur, j'aurais annulé.

Maison très agréable proche de splendides sites

Maison agréable et fonctionnelle, les chambres sont suffisamment spacieuses, la literie est très bonne, et la présence de 2 salles de bains pratique pour 8. La procédure d’entrée est très simple et la propriétaire charmante, est restée continuellement joignable. Nous avons bien profité des alentours, très chouette région. Pour les tous petits bémols ,il manque un peu de rangement pour les vêtements dans les chambres, et une petite marche derrière la porte d’entrée à signaler sur la porte pour moi, pour y songer à chaque fois, car même en l’ayant vu la première fois, on est parfois distrait!Au plaisir de revenir!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour entre amies dans la maison de Christelle. Très propre, bien équipée et super literie. Excellent échange avec Christelle également. Nous y retournerons sans hésitation!

La maison est bien équipée et décorée. L'offre de location annonce 4 chambres mais une fois le solde payé il nous est annoncé une chambre de moins à moins d'un mois de notre départ ce qui ne nous a pas permis de trouver une autre location dans une région et période très demandées. Un sentiment en demi teinte de ce séjour.

Week end en famille

Agréable maison, réservation avec 5 adultes et 2 enfants au top pour ce weekend de retrouvailles en famille près de la Rance. Chacun a son intimité et lieu de vie adequate. A refaire 👍. Malgré un petit souci avec l'ouverture de la porte , Christelle a su résoudre le problème très rapidement !! Merci à elle 😉!!

Lovely Holiday in Cote D'Armor

The house is very well presented as described online. Very clean and with good facilities and cooking equipment. Nice sun terrace at the front of the house for a BBQ. Parking is infront of the house. Three stars for location as Langrolay is a nice small, quiet village but only has one bar (The Doris...5 mins walk) and no shops- however there are two Super U supermarkets within 15 minutes drive and all the amazing beaches are within 30 mins drive. You can also walk to the river. We also hired paddle boards from Chillin Rance approx 10 mins drive. Would recommend this house or a week stay as a good base to see all this area has to offer including Dinan and St Malo if you want a day or two away from the beaches.
