We loved our stay and the lake view , we also enjoyed the amenities offered , host helped us and made check in easy and even provided a toaster for us ! We will be coming back !

For our first time staying in a RV it was cool the boys like that the lake and pond was right there and they could fish we will try to rent again in the future if available and also definitely when the fish tournament come back around next year

The host is very responsive and accommodating. Property is clean and inviting...the pond is within walking distance and makes for a nice view. This is the second time staying here and will definitely be back next year!!

Great Fishing stay!

Owners were great at communicating with us and the stay was comfortable and friendly! We will be back and ready to fish the lake soon.

We've stayed here in the past it was very clean. Not this time: The toilets had pee down the front. One had poop on the back of the seat. Shower had black mold in corner. Under the table there was food debris. Bugs in corner of bathroom. Host was a friend of family we were visiting so we tried to give them a chance to make it right and they only offered 100 dollar refund, when it cost 130 a night. We didn't want to mess up their rating and wanted to give them a chance to make it right. We also were offered to go to the other camper on site but it had pee on front of toilet too and no real bed just a pull out sofa. So we just stayed since we had so much going on and I cleaned the surfaces and sinks and one toilet. Also this stay was for Celebration of Life of Grandmother whose family was across the street so it was hard to just change staying there when we had a limited time to help with funeral plans. We had also been on the road 16 hours and to find the dirty conditions late at night hard to make a change of plans. Was told we'd get a discount but I was expecting at least half our money back. So close to 250, not just a 100 from the host. Oh and fridge was broke but there was a separate one in the back with bunk beds. Just disappointed in over all experience

Good for a weekend stay to fish. A little lacking on the lighting, but I think it’s just because we live in a day and age where bright LED lights dominate the household so we weren’t used to it being a little darker in the RV than we anticipated.

Great place to stay

Tamra & Rick are great people. They do what they say and are very responsive when you need something. It's jyst a great place to stay and very budget friendly.

Nice view

There was no hot water or outside lights when we got there so we had to fix them, but overall a nice getaway. The view was great!

When Jody arrived we had had a huge storm that blew out lights. The electricity went out due to same storm. We went over immediately when told about both. We turned on the water heater and replaced lights. Thanks for taking the time to review.

Relaxing & clean with beautiful views!

We had a wonderful weekend stay! Rick and Tamara were extremely thoughtful and welcoming. The camper was clean and had everything necessary for a great weekend on the lake.

Hookem Hideout

Even though it was a work stay Hookem Hideout made it feel like a vacation not a care in the world. I would recommend this getaway to anyone work or pleasure. Great Host!!
