5 Star views this awesome cabin backs to Caribou-Targhee National Forest and has amazing views of the mountains of Montana and Henry's Lake. 23 scenic miles to Yellowstone National Park and minutes away from all Island Park activities. Mesa Falls, Harriman State Park, Big Springs, Red Rock Wildlife Preserve and Meadow Vue Ranch are walking distance for Cowboy dinners and kids rodeo. Don't forget of course the world class trout of Henry's Fork on the Snake River and trophy trout of Henry's Lake. A fisherman's paradise. Outside paver deck with firepit, gas grill, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths that sleep 6, fully stocked kitchen, fishing gear, washer/dryer, 3 TV's and huge living room windows to watch the amazing wildlife that visit often. Bring your boat or canoe as the boat ramp is just across the road so come enjoy and have access to the very best that this jewel has to offer.

Good Location

This house served our needs well. We traveled to Yellowstone each morning and due to location and time left we had very little problem with traffic in and out of the park. We were able to prepare a couple meals in the house and had plenty of room to relax and sleep each night.

Perfect family getaway

Moose Meadows cabin was a perfect family getaway spot! We have never been to Yellowstone and this was a great location. We experienced some of what Island Park has to offer as well as a Rodeo/Dinner down the street at Meadowvue Ranch! The hosts are very responsive and helpful!

Terrific location for all we wanted to do. Nice cabin (although it had a few poor construction issues) nicely furnished and decorated, everything worked, parking could be better, absolutely wonderful view High recommendation from us !

Yellowstone Adventure

This property is relatively close to the West Entrance of Yellowstone, where we spent a full day exploring. We also visted local waterfalls, floated the river, and went fishing. House is clean and comfy. Lake view is very beautiful.

Great View - Quiet/Peaceful

The views from this property are amazing! The area is so quiet you could only hear the birds chirping. The kitchen looked great after it’s recent renovation and was equipped everything we needed. The showers were small, but we didn’t care we would stay here again. It was great to be a little bit away from the busy West Yellowstone area.

Perfect getaway

This place is perfect. It was so relaxing and quiet. Everything was well kept and cozy for our anniversary. We didn’t want for anything while we were there. The views are just spectacular from this cabin, day or night. We could just sit and watch nature from the porch. I would recommend this place and look forward to returning here again with my wife.

From time to time we have small bug hatches in our mountainous area, and if the doors are left open for any length of period that they do get into the cabins. Lake and Meadow View close to Yellowstone

We loved staying in the little house on the hill with the view of the lake, meadow, mountains, and animals. The house is was cozy but big enough for our family of 4 who loved sitting and looking out the big windows towards the lake. We could watch the cows in the field and in the mornings deer and antelope would graze about 100 yards from house. The location is about 30 minutes to the West gate which was great and there is a new grocery store a few miles down the road. We also recommend going to BIG Spring which is about 15 minutes away. Nice river walk and we saw moose there 2 different times in the river.

House is too small for 6 adults Dead flies filled sliding door track and window sills Too small of water heater. We were asked to wait 15 minutes in between each shower. Burn pit area not clean area to use. Grass needs cut Beautiful views

We want to thank you for your reservation. Sorry the space wasn’t adequate for your group. Our property is designed for 6 guests to enjoy the open and private spaces of the cabin. We do have 3 bedrooms, and 2 baths with a dining table for 6. It is a suggestion on the showers to insure a hot shower for each guest. The yard is full of wild flowers that hadn’t quite bloomed yet for your stay. We’ve had a very wet spring / early summer with rain and snow in the month of June that has made it very hard to maintain the yard, and flowering areas including cleaning all the needles, and pollen from the fire pit area. We do appreciate the feedback. Thank you again for your booking

Great place, beautiful view.

This house house has everything you need. Just to name a couple - it has extremely well equipped kitchen with a lot of small appliances, cook book, small cooler for your trips, bear spray, games for the kids, binoculars. It even has night lights around the house. Our only complaint is a squeaking and not very comfortable bed in the first bedroom. The kitchen would also benefit from having an organizer in an utensil drawer. You will need about an hour to get to the closest attractions in Yellowstone Park. The views from the house are breathtaking and we defiantly recommend a drive around the lake. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cabin and all the thoughtful details!!

The perfect little cabin

We arrived at this cabin at night and woke to a stunning view. This house is described as the "perfectly imperfect cabin" by the owners, and it is just that—everything you would need or want in this little peaceful place. We have a family of 5 with three teens, and it was just the right amount of space for a few nights. The views were stunning. We loved running down the road in the privacy of the county, the Elk that visited every morning were fun to watch, the neighbors were kind, and you are close to west Yellowstone town and the park but perfectly away from all things. That would be loud. It is a must if the rodeo is going on at West Yellowstone Wild West Rodeo. Super fun night. Thank you for opening your home to our family. We enjoyed all of our time in your little cabin.

Great location with gorgeous views

We loved our stay at this property! The views of the field, lake, and mountains are spectacular from sunrise to sunset. We spent most of our time during the days in Yellowstone and this was an easy drive back and forth. We prefer to be a bit away from the hustle and bustle of a tourist town like West Yellowstone, so this was a perfect match for us.

Moose Meadows was GREAT get away!

The cabin had everything we needed and the location was perfect for going into Yellowstone. Idaho was more beautiful than expected and the view outside of the cabin was gorgeous. We would definitely recommend and hope to return again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The view of Henry’s lake and the mountains was terrific. We had everything we needed for our week long stay. One of the beds squeaks, but it was comfortable.

Beautiful place

The owners were so thoughtful providing snacks from a long journey. They also help provide any information that is useful for the house. My son loved the loft. I thought the decorations were beautiful! He adored the teddy bears up stairs. We drove from all the way from Wisconsin and and it was worth the trip! Thank you!

Island Park hideaway

We enjoyed our stay at Moose Meadows. The kids loved the upstairs bunk room, and it was really nice to have the peace and quiet of the countryside. The extra touches with the snacks and cute cowboy hat were lovely. The only downside was the house had a damp smell which came back every time we shut the house up.

Yellowstone

I cannot say enough good things about this property and the hosts Jaime and Heather! It sits in a lovely location and is so comfy. Has everything you would need and Heather was so sweet to give us all kinds of suggestions, both in Yellowstone Park, and places to eat. We enjoyed staying there so much, we added an extra day. Would highly recommend this property!
