Suzanne's Cottage By The Sea is located on Oak Island, the ideal place for your next family vacation! This oceanfront house is steps away from the rolling waves of the Atlantic Ocean. A dazzling open floor plan and vaulted ceilings lead you to appreciate the beautiful vistas of the dunes and sea from the moment you walk in the front door. The open living, dining & kitchen areas offer a new coastal vibe that's ideal for relaxing and entertaining. You will find 4 appealing sized bedrooms and 2 full baths off the main living area all on one level. This home has been charmingly refreshed with modern coastal decor'. The kitchen is well supplied and offers a Keurig and a coffee pot.

Start your day in the oceanfront sunroom or sundeck taking in the magnificent vistas of the ocean, beach, and gorgeous sunrises! There's a generous size oceanfront sundeck space with steps leading down to the beach!

After putting the kids to bed, relax and enjoy a quiet evening taking in the beautiful sunsets from the sunroom or sundeck.

Saturday to Saturday weekly rentals from May -October

Publix and Dollar General are less than a mile, and Food Lion is 1.3 miles from our house. After your day on the beach you can enjoy many great restaurants nearby on Oak Island, and within a short driving distance, (15 minute drive), to Southport Marina.

This cottage is absolutely perfect! Not a single complaint! So clean, so tastefully decorated, excellent location, hooks for your towels, jewelry stands, outlet/ext cords all over, and a linen service! You do have to put your own sheets on, but then you know 100% they are clean! We had the BEST VACATION EVER!

Beautiful oceanfront home with everything you need to enjoy your vacation! Cleanliness, check in, host communication, beach access, location, listing accuracy…all were absolutely perfect! Myself, my husband & my sister stayed and we are in our 60s & 70s & had no issues or complaints, just thankful for the hosts opening their home for rental. Highly recommend this place.

Great place to stay on Oak Island!

Perfect layout for our family - 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, all one level, a very nice and large back deck, plenty of seating inside and out, easy and immediate beach access, and prompt and helpful support from owners. Would love to stay here again in the future.

This is one of the best vacation homes we have stayed in. First, I would like to thank Rick and Suzanne for accommodating my husband and his special needs. So wonderful! This house has so many amenities. First, the whole place is cute as a button, decorated so beautifully with beach themes. They have charging stations at almost every light. That was so fabulous. They have full-length mirrors behind the bedroom doors. They have baskets in the bathrooms and kitchen to put all your stuff in. They have jewelry stands in the bedrooms for your jewelry. They have thought of so many nice things that we loved and used! Outside, right below the deck, is a walk way to the beach. This was really handy for my husband so he didn’t have to walk far. The beach is beautiful there. The view is great! The Food Lion and Publix grocery stores are nearby. We had a much needed week away and so enjoyed it. Best stay ever!

Location was really a surprise for us. Although beside a public entry point, it had no effect negatively. Actually, there was a custom fit mat leading from that point to the beach which made things so much easier. The property was clean on arrival. I had spoken to the owners on a question (they responded right away). So yes, I nice rental, a nice week, recommend.

Fantastic Home!

We absolutely loved staying here! We had 6 adults and 2 kids, the house was the perfect size for our group! The house layout was great and we loved the decor and lighting fixtures! The house is in a great location - oceanfront and minutes from the main area of grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. We loved all the seating both indoors and on the porch. We hope to be back to stay in this same home in the future!

Great place to stay!

Our check in process was seamless. Upon entry to the kitchen, the brilliant countertop combined with the other kitchen decor was beyond beautiful. Very well equipped for meal prep. We ate at the house for all our meals except one dinner out. The den is small but furnished comfortably; recliner, love seat, couch, and occasional chair. Loved the back sunroom. Comfortable with separate AC. Bedrooms are great; roomy and comfortable. All furnishings in the house are pretty and functional. WiFi was good. Access to groceries and shops is a mile of so from the house.We will definitely stay here again.

Family time

The property is amazing and the pictures in the listing are accurate! It’s such a beautiful home with an awesome location and has a very well stocked kitchen if you plan on cooking. Myself, husband, our 2 children and my parents stayed there and the home size was just right! There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and hang out but still have their own space. We especially loved walking on the beach and sitting in the sunroom reading afterward. Would definitely love to stay again.

Beautiful Cottage Right on the Beach.

This is a beautifully maintained and decorated cottage right on the beach, with just a dune between you and the ocean. Great communication with the host, and very enjoyable stay.

Very nice cottage and location

The cottage was lovely, I enjoyed being right next door to the beach access. The other amenities we needed like a grocery store were also very close by. The cottage was well equipped and the hosts were easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend this property and hopefully we will be back

We began our short term rental venture in March 2019, with our historic row house, Matt's Place In The Strip, located in the Strip District of Pittsburgh, PA. We are Super Hosts with Airbnb, and Preferred Partners with VRBO. We take pride in providing a first class living experience for our guests. All of our reviews have been 5 stars with compliments about decor, cleanliness, and comfort. We hope you choose to stay in our house on Oak Island. We feel that you won't be disappointed!
