About this property

Welcome to our VRBO! Nestled in the foothills of Sedalia, this cozy and private cabin has incredible views of the Rocky Mountains. Conveniently located between Denver and Colorado Springs in Sedalia. It is a one bedroom with a king bed and an additional bunk room/office. Kitchen has granite countertops, cherry cabinets and new flooring throughout. There are so many things to do nearby such as Blue Ribbon Fly Fishing on the Platte River, Chatfield Reservoir, Roxborough Park, or take a amazing mountain drive to Deckers along the beautiful Platte River. The town of Sedalia is just 3 miles away with dining, shops and more. Castle Rock is only 8 miles to the south and have all the conveniences of a large city. We are situated on 8 acres so you can see an abundance of wildlife and take a walk on the rolling hills of the property. ADDITIONAL NOTES: During snow season (Sept-April) we highly recommend that you have a four wheel or all wheel drive. During summer time we do have an evaporative cooler that works very well for the hot days. No trailers allowed. No Pets Please.

Cozy Cabin

This place is a hidden gem. Very quiet, secluded with a great view. The cabin is very comfortable and has all the comforts of home. Diane and Mitch are great host and I will be staying here again.

Snowy Mountain Escape

My husband and I had a great getaway from LA. The cabin is right out of town down this beautiful winding road on a mountain. It was warm and cozy, huge TV, and a very comfortable king sized bed. It made our stay in the snowy -10 degree weather so amazing. The views from the porch are beautiful! We had a couple things come up while we were there and they were taken care of quickly and kindly by sweet Diane and Mitch. We very much enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this wonderful place!

Relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful long weekend at the cabin. Mitch and Diane were very welcoming and the cabin had everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed our time there and were able to just relax. We are looking forward to going back.

Mitch and I have lived in Sedalia for 27 years. It's a great place to live or visit and we wanted to share beautiful location with others. We both recently retired and so now have the time to work on our VRBO. We love woodworking, boating and spending time with our dog Gabbie We built a lot of the furniture in the cabin and had so much fun fixing it up.
