Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Property was really dirty outside. Grass was knee high. Hot tub was dirty and only half full when we arrived toilet seat downstairs was lose and couldn't be tightened. Called the number to voice our concerns and was told it would all be taken care of. Cleaning lady came and fixed the issues with the hot tub. And thats all we seen or heard from anyone about our issues. Was definitely not what we were expecting for the money we paid and disappointed in the lack of effort to make it right.
Great location, beautiful view, very spacious, cozy and comfortable house. There were only two of us, but will be great for the entire family. We loved staying there and will definitely be back!
Cozy & safe place for family to relax and enjoy a vacation. Good location on the lake. Kids liked riding bikes in the neighborhood, and teen liked being close enough to Jackrabbit trails.
The property was beautiful, but a few previous reviews were surprisingly accurate. There was a common subject that repeatedly emerged, and that was to bring your own toilet paper. I didn't want to believe it, but it's 100% true. Bring toilet paper. We got 1 roll in each bathroom (2), or what was left on the previous visitors roll. This was for six people (2 of them ladies) over 4 days time. Kind of ridiculous, honestly. But again, the house is splendid. Absolutely stunning. You might want to re-wash a lot of the dishes, and definitely check the coffee maker (mold), but I suspect that's more an issue for the cleaning crew, and not the owner. The last thing I'll say is a suggestion for the owner: Please, for the love of all that's holy, being the basement furniture upstairs, and through what you have upstairs away. It's just awful. Terribly uncomfortable, stained, and in disrepair. The basement furniture was fantastic though. It should totally be upstairs. Hope this helps everybody. I would stay again, but I'd bring toilet paper, oh!, and a can opener. Lol. Anyway, 3 1/2 - 4 stars for sure. Beautiful house, and great lake access. :-)
Property is quite dated and some areas like the back deck were not cleaned and railing system was very flimsy which prevented us from using that area
View of lake and access to dock were great
We enjoyed our trip. The lake is beautiful, and the setup is fantastic. The gentle slope made it easy for older people in our party. We also enjoyed the patio. It was perfect for morning coffee and grilling. The house was comfortable and well stocked. We would definitely stay again.
The house and property were exactly as listed on the VRBO site. Very clean and welcoming. Had some electrical and heating issues when first arrived, but property management was very quick to respond and corrected/ fixed the problems within a short time of our arrival.
It was great location and perfect house for our family to celebrate the holiday.
Beautiful house, roomy, right on the lake. We will love to stay here again. Do bring extra TP, something to wash dishes with and dishwasher pods. Wonderful experience!
Great place, great managers and beautiful view. Prepare for a longer stay by bringing extra bath towels if a larger group.
Otherwise everything was perfect!
Loved spending time on Lake Chatuge and this house is super convenient to the marina where we rented a boat.
It has a covered dock if you need to come in from the sun/rain. Two great areas for watching the football games on TV, multiple tables for playing games and room for everyone to spread out to sleep. BEAUTIFUL views of the lake.
