This family-friendly abode grants guests the convenience of having an on-site washer/dryer–if things get sandy, all you have to do is throw your clothes into the washer/dryer and forget about everything else. Also, if you decide to visit, you and your friends will have access to shared on-site amenities such as a hot tub, fitness center, children's pool, indoor/outdoor pools, and more!

What's nearby:
Unlike other rentals, this home away from home offers an unbeatable location mere steps away from the sandy shores of North Myrtle Beach. This laid-back city is the ideal place to relax, swim, fish in the ocean, work on your tan, beachcomb, and so much more. Five miles away is the Cherry Grove Fishing Pier, the perfect spot to cast some fishing lines with your family or kids. Exciting adventures await at Shark Wake Park, the biggest aqua park in North Myrtle Beach and you can find it only six miles away. North Myrtle Beach is also an ideal escape for golfing–make sure to pack your clubs and visit one of the nearby clubs such as Azalea Sands Golf Club (one mile), Beachwood Golf Club, (one and a half miles), or Barefoot Resort & Golf (five miles).

Things to know:

Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program provides one free ticket from up to 3 partners per reservation. Additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on property specific websites.

Children’s Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each summer from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!

Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more!

DVD Rentals - Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. Guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.

Bay Watch has 18 bodies of water including indoor and outdoor lazy rivers. Sandtrap Sports Bar is a guest favorite, open daily. Fishtails is a seasonal pool bar featuring fun cocktails and live entertainment during the warmest seasons. There is also a gift shop selling trinkets and forgotten items to make your trip complete.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great stay!

The ocean views can’t be beat! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean. The size is perfect. Each bedroom and bathroom is spacious.

the rooms were unclean, the safe was broken, the closet door was broken. the room felt "old" and out dated. very disappointed.

Decent place to stay

The unit is self is nice enough. The place could use some upgrades. We stayed for 5 nights. The room does have a heavy wet smell. The bathrooms could have been cleaner, we found hair in the bathtub before we even used. The most disappointing part was that the front door lock did not work. We had to leave our beach chair behind the door as a security measure. The couch was super dusty we had to put a cover sheet to seat on it. Would definitely stay at the resort again buy would definitely think twice when it came to the room we get

Do not stay here

This room was not clean. It was outdated and smelled nasty! The tub in the master bathroom had adhesive or something all in it! We did not use that tub. The pictures are not what they seem and before management replies… they were aware and did nothing… all they said was we are sorry. I’m sorry too

Room 1508 - not great

We always love staying at Bay Watch Resort, but unfortunately the room we were given this time had a lot of issues. The coffee table was wobbly and I was terrified it would break under the smallest pressure. The kitchen chairs were broken, and also very sticky even after cleaning them. The laundry door was broken and missing. The beds were extremely hard and loud when you moved on them. Sheets on the bed were stained with god knows what. Lots of scuff marks and carpet peeled in areas. The front door looked like it had been broken into and was missing a safety lock at the top that doubles as a door holder. We weren’t given any dish tabs even though part of the checkout process is to run the dishwasher. The coils on the stove were all messed up and made trying to cook difficult. We’ve stayed here 4 times and this was the worst room we were in.

Just ok- dated and sparse

Communication from the host was great and easy. I would book thru them again, but not this unit. Can’t recommend unless you don’t have another option. It was very clean, but feels dated. Dryer didn’t work, oven very old and took double time to cook. Kitchen barely has anything to use- so don’t plan on cooking if you need anything other than a pot and a measuring cup. Paint is peeling and tile was falling off bottom of the wall. The “sleeper sofa” shouldn’t be used unless you really don’t like the person using it- it’s terrible. Other beds were ok. Main bedroom TV doesn’t turn on with remote in room. The hotel/facility itself was nice enough. I will definitely look elsewhere for next time, but it met our minimum requirements for the week with not too much trouble.

Needs Updating!

Room was clean but definitely needs updating. Furniture, cabinets, and bathrooms need replacing/updating. Paint would be a huge plus also….

Decent Resort

Overall, we had a great trip. The front desk staff was great! The room wasn’t completely clean upon arrival, there were hairs and sticky spots on the floors. A few of the hot tubs were either cold or the jets didn’t work. Other than that, we had a great time.
