Five miles away is the Cherry Grove Fishing Pier, the perfect spot to cast some fishing lines with your family or kids. Exciting adventures await at Shark Wake Park, the biggest aqua park in North Myrtle Beach and you can find it only six miles away. North Myrtle Beach is also an ideal escape for golfing–make sure to pack your clubs and visit one of the nearby clubs such as Azalea Sands Golf Club (one mile), Beachwood Golf Club, (one and a half miles), or Barefoot Resort & Golf (five miles).

Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program provides one free ticket from up to 3 partners per reservation. Additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on property specific websites.

Children’s Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each summer from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!

Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more!

DVD Rentals - Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. Guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.

Bay Watch has 18 bodies of water including indoor and outdoor lazy rivers. It also features breakfast daily at Bay Watch Cafe located in the center tower. Sandtrap Sports Bar is a guest favorite, open daily. Fishtails is a seasonal pool bar featuring fun cocktails and live entertainment during the warmest seasons. There is also a gift shop selling trinkets and forgotten items to make your trip complete.

This was basically just a place to sleep with the only benefit being an oceanfront view. No personality, in desperate need of upgrades, beds not very comfortable, and in a noisy location by elevator and walkway. There are much better units in this complex.

The property was nice. Pools were good. Laundry machines are not user friendly (app) and we’re out of order half the time. Restaurant/Bar staff are not the friendliest. Room needs updated. Bathroom door gets stuck if shut even if it’s not locked.

Nice view but worn out and less than clean.

For the price per night, this unit was not as clean as it should have been nor upkept. There was molded pretzels under one of the beds and nail clippings around the night stand. The hard floors were sticky. The jacuzzi tub didn’t have a plug, or way to fill the tub to enjoy the jacuzzi jets.

the room was very damp and stinky . all of the furniture felt so damp and the carpet . i think the carpet was what made the room smell very stinky but the livingroom area smelled as well . the fridge and oven were clean but rusted all over and the toilet ran and ran. for what we paid for one night stay we could have had a much nicer room had we booked ahead .

Be careful with the directions in the email- they take you an hour out of your way!

The property was fine but the arrival ruined the first day - the link in the email from Vacasas took us to the Myrtle Beach property rather than the North Myrtle Beach one. We had planned to get to the property around 4 pm but it was 6:30 pm when we got there. Told the check-in person; he didn't care. Called Vacasas; the person who answered said they would make it right and would be back in touch soon. Haven't heard from them. We will never stay there again.

The view and beach access is awesome. The number of pools were awesome, but not the cleanest looking pools. The lazy river only had one tube and the pool guy told a guest to go to Walmart to get one. The room itself was decent….the couch was dirty and the room overall was outdated. The hallway leading to the room had stinky dirty carpet. There were 2 out of 3 elevators working, so there was always a line of people at the elevators.

It was Not ok.

The floors were dirty and I killed five roaches in two days of staying. This is not ok with me. The beds were lousy and the coffee table was literally on it's last leg. There were minimal cooking utensils and NO washcloths. View was great.

Second time we stayed here. Beautiful view. Rooms are basic. Nothing fancy (a little dated). The beds are really comfortable. The staff at the front desk is always pleasant and polite. No issues. The restaurant and bar is convenient after a long day at the softball field. We would certainly come back again. Great beach access.

We were very pleased with this room which had many positives such as a great view, nice pools, good location in north myrtle, and a clean beach. There was quite a bit a of peeling paint both in our room and in the hotel, but they were actively painting during our visit so the timing must have been bad.

I booked a last minute taking time to myself trip. 3 nights 4 days. The price was amazing the actual room for what I paid was much more than I expected. the room was clean the staff super friendly and helpful. The amenities were the best. I've stayed at a lot of different places decided on here and am so glad I did. And honestly book directly with the company it will beat any other price posted online. I will be back.

The staff is very friendly and overall the facility is nice. The pools and lazy rivers are very well maintained. The single bedroom rooms are smaller than what they look to be online; however, it works. The one thing I would recommend is that you specifically ask for a room with a washer / dryer as the public units are always in use. Most importantly - it has a great beach access and the ocean front view is amazing!
