We loved this house and the view so much that none of us wanted to leave! The house was spacious, and everything was so nice. We had a great time playing pool and enjoying the beautiful views. If you’re looking for a place to stay, you’ll love this one!

We loved our stay. The house is rustic, yet modern with everything we needed. The host was very responsive when had an issue with the remote in the media/game room, and had a new remote delivered promptly. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the Poconos.

House was clean, some ant issues in the kitchen from leftover food from previous guests. Host was easy to speak with, some exterior issues with deck boards popping up becoming quite the hazard for out young children.

We enjoyed our stay. House was big enough for our 3 families. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We were able to spread out. Game room is great for the teenagers in our group. Plenty of outdoor space too. Unfortunately the back screen door wasn’t working so we were not able to keep it open to enjoy the lake view. Also if arriving at night it can be a little difficult to find. Plus there weren’t enough paper towels and trash bags for our group. It would be helpful to have extras.

The inside of the house is not bad but the basement has a strong smell of mold. Only televisions in the house are one in the basement one in the living room and one in the "main bedroom" The real reason for the low stars is the outside was not kept up ,grass and weeds not cut, deck falling apart and the front door flashing at the bottom was loose so when my son's friend was coming out to get something to eat he almost fell on his face but I caught him.

Enjoyed our stay!!!

Overall the house was very nice. The living area was very large and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the basement which was equipped with games and a large screen TV with recliners. The only issues we had were that the oven was dirty and the property was not shoveled well, leaving the parking and walkway areas very icy..

Great place to stay, highly recommended!Overall, we had a very pleasant experience. The place is clean, comfortable, and well-located, making our stay enjoyable and relaxing.We did have a small issue with the stove during our stay, but we immediately informed the owner. She responded quickly, was very understanding, and handled the situation professionally. We truly appreciated her attitude and the fact that she did not try to fine us or create any problems.The owner’s responsiveness and fairness made a big positive difference and showed great customer care. Because of this, we felt comfortable and well taken care of.Overall, it’s a great place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Great Property for Low Key Weekend

Very close to hiking trails and lake activities. Beautiful living area and variety of rooms available for kids and adults. Awesome fire pit and outdoor space with a view of the water. We ran into a few issues but the property manager was very responsive and helpful. The issues did not negatively impact our stay at all. We were looking for a low key place to hang out with friends and this property delivered on that promise. Overalll we really enjoyed our time there.

Roomy, convenient to attractions, beware of owner

We chose this property because the description included lake access, suitability for children, and room for 12 people. It also listed several activities, and that meant we could have most of our family time at the property. A very important feature, since our children are not yet eligible for the COVID vaccine. The home was plenty large enough for our group, and was VERY clean. The home theater/game room was OK-broken game equipment. Unfortunately the owner, Jenel, was unavailable to resolve the “inconveniences” we encountered during our stay - such as not enough towels, extra bed linens (essential when vacationing with young children), dishes, silverware, paper towels, dishwasher soap or trash bags to accommodate 12 people for a week. Several safety issues were also noted, particularly concerning when young children were in the house. Safety issues included loose stone steps outdoors, the storage area roof was easily accessible and had no rail to prevent falling off, exposed carpet tacks in stairway, no handle on the screen door and the opening had sharp edges that were inadequately covered with painter’s tape, and a rusty and broken radiator in the upstairs bathroom. The owner also misrepresented the availability of lake access. The property is part of a private community. We were told by the property manager of the community that renters are not allowed in the lake as we attempted a morning paddle. This was news to us as we had received several communications from the owner with information about how to access the lake (and that there would even be a paddle boat). When we attempted to contact the owner about this issue, she claimed the lake was being treated and that was why we would not have access. Sensing that the story was not adding up, we called the property manager. She stated that the lake was not being treated and that guests do not have access because of the community’s insurance policy. Furthermore, she stated that the owner is well aware of this policy. If you are planning on renting this property for the lake access and have received assurances from the owner that you will have access, you are being misled. Jenel’s multiple misrepresentations in her property listing, poor communication, lack of availability to resolve issues during our stay, and lackluster management of her property ensure that We would never stay in this property again. Renters beware!l

Christina was by far the worst renter we've ever come across. We did everything possible to make this guest comfortable including offering to pay for her boat rentals at a nearby lake 8 minutes away since our lake was being treated at the time and we were not aware until after the guest arrived. She in return told us that she would leave us the absolute worst review and ruin our good reputation with VRBO and scare away renters. So this review and lies about our home does not come as a surprise to us. As you can see from our other reviews everyone loves our home and all that it offers.
