As a child, I started visiting Sanibel in 1966. It became a family tradition to vacation here every year since. Now my wife and three children have fallen in love with the island. We prefer the tranquil east end with great shelling, walking on the beach to the lighthouse and fishing pier, bike riding on miles of scenic trails and fantastic fishing. We can never get enough of Sanibel! We think you will love it too!

Location! Location! Location! We love the quiet east end. With both gulf and bay beaches to enjoy and the lighthouse nearby, there's lots to explore within walking distance. Enjoy a short hike to Pinnochio's where you can taste award-winning ice cream and visit the Lighthouse Cafe next door for its world-famous breakfast. We were drawn to the small size of the complex with its quiet pool and secluded beach. We also fell in love with the view and the light-filled, top floor corner unit. This unit had everything we had hoped for!

World-class shelling is literally just steps from our door. The gulf and bay beaches offer shore fishing opportunities throughout the year. If you like to kayak or canoe, you can quickly hook up with the beautiful Great Calusa Blueway, which offers 190 miles of paddling trails. Bike trails that run throughout Sanibel are just across the street.
