This is a well-equipped house in a magical rural/forest setting. The rooms were comfortable but obviously in August we spent most time, including all meals, outdoors - especially round the wonderful pool and the several sitting-out areas. The garden space was lovely for our dog and for our games of Molky, boules and table tennis. Fascinating wildlife all around: whilst we frequently heard a golden oreole, only one of us was lucky enough to see two by the frog pond! Some of our party are cyclists and there are lovely rides up and down the Brenne valley and of course the Loire and Cher. The location is great for Chateau spotting, and we loved visiting Blois and Amboise: so much to see. The village Boulanger is great and open all hours. We had a superb dinner in Liberté in Neuillé. Aude was a most conscientious and thoughtful hostess, very quick to respond.
