Northstar Mountain - Indoor pool & mountain views

It is wonderful to hear that your group of 21 enjoyed the peace and mountain beauty during your October stay. I am glad the spacious layout and pool amenities provided such a great setting for your time in the Smokies. You are certainly right about the mountain roads; the steep and winding path is the trade-off for those elevated, serene views, and I appreciate you mentioning it for future guests who may be planning their visit. Thank you for choosing to stay with us, and we would love to welcome you back again.

It was such a pleasure hosting your group of 19. I am so glad you enjoyed the views and the indoor pool despite the challenging weather conditions at the start of your trip. Hearing that the home exceeded your expectations, even with the appliances, is wonderful. I have already scheduled our maintenance team to address the dishwasher, washing machine, and fire pit to ensure everything is in perfect working order for future guests. Thank you for the important reminder about locking vehicles; those clever local bears certainly keep us on our toes in the Smokies! We would love to welcome your family back for another visit whenever your travels bring you to Tennessee again.

It’s also great to know the pool was a hit with the kids—that’s always wonderful to hear for family stays. We appreciate you noting that the minor maintenance issues were addressed promptly, as we always aim to respond quickly when needed. Thank you as well for your helpful suggestion regarding a second washer/dryer. That’s very valuable feedback for large groups, and we’ll certainly take it into consideration as we continue improving the home for longer stays. We truly appreciate you choosing our property and would love to host you again in the future!

Thank you for your kind words, we are glad you had a great stay!

Thank you so much for your review! We’re really glad to hear you enjoyed the amazing views, the layout for large groups, and the convenient location. It’s great to know the home worked well overall for your stay and that you would consider coming back again. We also appreciate your note regarding kitchen supplies and household essentials. The home is stocked with starter items, and we do provide a detailed pre-arrival message outlining what is included so guests can plan accordingly for larger groups and extended stays. That said, we understand how important it is for group travel to have plenty of kitchen tools and essentials on hand, and we’ll continue reviewing this to improve the guest experience. To our future guests: The home is professionally cleaned and fully prepared between stays, and we provide starter supplies for convenience. For larger groups or longer stays, we recommend bringing or supplementing additional consumables and kitchen items as needed to best suit your group’s needs.

Hello Diana! We're so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Northstar. For anyone seeing this review: Diana reached out and said that she meant to rate the stay 5 stars, but clicked 1 star. There's unfortunately no way to change this despite her trying. We hope you'll read the words she wrote instead of the score she inadvertently clicked.
