Beautiful home! It was walking distance to downtown. The kitchen was well-appointed and cool to have two sinks. Plenty of room in the kitchen and living room for large groups to hang out. Easy check in / check out process. Host was easy to contact. Casita was really nice with its separate fridge/bathroom/AC and outdoor lounge area. 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic location! We had a girls weekend with six women and it was perfectly situated. Fun gathering places as well getting a little separation. The property manager was incredibly helpful and responsive. I would stay there again.

The Elliott Barker house is a must stay!! The home is beautifully decorated. Kitchen and other amenities are plentiful with everything you could want or need. The outdoor landscaping and seating areas are gorgeous!Sasi was extremely sweet and helpful. Thank you Sasi! We will definitely return.

Great Central Location

This is a great property! I traveled with a group of 7 women on a girls trip and we all really enjoyed the property. The location is amazing and the house is beautiful and comfortable. We would all recommend the house to others!

The property was gorgeous with easy access to down town. The pre trip communication was excellent and handy links were provided. This was also the best stocked VRBO we’ve ever stayed at!

Perfect spot for a reunion

A classic Santa Fe Estate, now converted to a guest home in a central location with access to many of the treasures of this town. The grounds are beautifully kept gardens. There is ample parking (a rarity in central Santa Fe) The hosts are very welcoming, and responsive to our questions.

Enchanting property in perfect location

Wonderful property that brings cheer at every turn! Very clean, well-stocked and beautifully decorated. The porches and yards are charming and the home was very comfortable for our group 6. Within easy walking distance of the Plaza and Canyon Road, this could not have been a more perfect vacation spot to experience all Santa Fe has to offer, We will definitely be back!

Stylish stay

A gem - elegantly decorated, comfortable house located in the heart of Santa Fe. Well suited for entertaining, walking distance to everything. Perfect for our group of 5 unrelated adults - plenty of room to spread out and lovely outdoor spaces. Highly considerate host. Beautifully appointed rooms and excellent bathrooms. 1907 stately house.

Mom's 80th birthday

Beautiful house and garden. It was perfect for our group. There are lots of different spots inside and out for hanging out. The kitchen is well equipped. And the location is great. We wouldn't have changed a thing.

The Lowery Sibling’s Road Trip

Wow, the house was perfect for what we wanted. Each room had it’s own theme going on. The gathering areas were perfect for just sitting around and talking. The location was within walking distance of food, entertainment, and the arts. Sasi, our host was great. He checked in with us several times throughout our stay. I highly recommend this rental for any size group.

60th birthday bash

I wanted friends and family to join me for my 60Th birthday in a convenient location where everyone could stay under one roof. After searching many locations and possible properties I found the perfect spot in Santa Fe. I could not have asked for anything better. The property manager was incredibly helpful and always replied when needed. He even brought a new coffee maker within 20 minutes of calling him. Great location, awesome house. Perfect for large groups or families. We will be back!

Amazing!

Words cannot describe how amazing our experience was at the beautiful vacation home on Palace Ave. We were 10 guests in total and fit comfortably in 5 bedrooms (including the casita). Each room was beautifully outfitted with deep royal hues, gorgeous fabrics, art and thoughtful touches. This home is truly cared for and contained everything our guests could possibly need. The best part? Our awesome hosts, Sasi and Kutlu - they checked on us throughout the stay to ensure we had everything we needed. They even had my favorite musical artist playing on the Alexa system upon arrival! Hands down the best, most comfortable stay we’ve ever had in a vacation home. We cannot wait to come back again!

We had the most wonderful time at the Elliott Barker estate, and honestly, it exceeded every expectation. Staying in a historic property in a prime location is a rare treat. You can feel the character and story of the place the moment you walk in. It was both beautifully unique and genuinely comfortable, which is a balance that’s harder to achieve than it sounds.But what really made this stay unforgettable were the hosts. Absolutely the best we’ve encountered in all our travels. Warm, thoughtful, and clearly proud of this special property. They made us feel like honored guests rather than just renters.We stayed for a week and made day trips to Bandolier National Park and Los Alamos (eat at the Blue Window), Taos (visit the Millicent Rogers Museum, the Taos Pueblo, and have lunch at El Cuervo, Chimayo for the cathedral and lunch at Rancho Chimayo, In Santa Fe we visited the museums and shops on the Plaza and had the most wonderful prime rib at La Fonda on Sunday night. One day was devoted to Museum Hill with lunch at the Cafe. But our favorite activity was staying at the house and enjoying good conversations. Having a home like this to return to each evening made the whole trip feel complete. If you’re looking for a place that combines history, comfort, and genuine hospitality, look no further. We’d book again in a heartbeat.One more thing…the hosts are generous with supplies. They do not scrimp on amenities.

A perfect place for a reunion of childhood friends

We couldn't have picked a better property for our birthday reunion. The house is so centrally located, we were able to walk everywhere. The house is old and there are some problems, but when we called the owner, he came right over to fix it. There are still some lighting issues, but we managed to work around them. There were 6 of us and all but two of us had our own bedroom. There is only one bathroom for three bedrooms upstairs; so I am not sure if more than 3 people could share it; but having the half-bath downstairs was very helpful. The outside grounds are so lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside and eating outside. All in all, it was the perfect place for these newly 70 year olds.

Great location, loved the fireplace in the back yard

The dichotomy of what the house looks like, and what it looks like inside is amazing.we loved the quirky decor,kitchen served us well. We sunned on the porch in the afternoon and at night gathered round the fire in the back yard. We had such a lovely time. We are a group of college friends who reunite every few years.The location was excellent. And of all the homes of VRBO that we have rented, it was, by far, the absolute cleanest we have ever encountered. Check out was a breeze as well,we were able to meet and thank the owners ourselves…..Highly recommended.
