Great spot for a winter break

This property is as close to the water as promised. When I slouched on the sofa, it created the optical illusion of the waves coming right under the balcony. The property provided a very comfortable and convenient place to stay on Kauai.

First class stay

The Manager made this condo an absolutely lovely stay. Excellent communication skills and does every thing possible to make stay enjoyable. We loved watching the surfers. Excellent location. We were blessed! The helicopter ride was God’s masterpiece on display!

Perfect in every way

This property has to be the one of the best we have stayed parking plentiful view from the rear of the beach to die for Kitchen has every thing needed and 2 large tv to watch Loved the place and thank you very much for holding this for us since 2020 due to covid restrictions we will be back

Wonderful view

The view from the lanai is amazing. Every morning we'd have coffee watching the surfers. You truly are just feet from the coastline. The unit has comfortable Hawaiian furniture and a very tropical feel. Kitchen has everything you need. There are lots of things for spending the day at the beach--chairs, umbrella, cold chest. Lovely unit.

Excellent, convenient location. Surf perfect surf and sunset views lanai.Great restaurant next door.

The property has everything needed for a great outer island vacation - at your fingertips. Having AC was great - important because Poipu can get hot and stuffy. Parking not a problem. The property was clean and well maintained. We’ve stayed at many VRBOs, and you never really know what you’ll get until you walk in the door. This unit is one of the very best. You can have complete confidence in this property booking sight unseen. Highly recommended.

Lovely condo, not so great complex

The condo has mesmerizing views and with two sides glass windows to the living room . The ocean thunders right into your living room. The bedrooms are dark and a bit musty. The living room has too much furniture and hard to move around. There are a huge number of beach accessories, chairs etc. which is great.The privacy is a little low and the neighbors are a little rude (only a few). A little away from swimming beaches, ideal for surfing. The floors had sand if you walked bare foot. Seemed pricey for what it offered. Host was responsive.

Amazing view

A wonderful time. The view of the ocean was fantastic and daily we watched turtles, whales and surfers. The sound of the ocean was soothing. The owner was responsive to questions - before and during the trip. We will definitely rent this condo again.

Awesome Oceanfront Condo

This condo's location provided the perfect opportunity to hear and view crashing surf. It's conveniently located and allows you to access both Princeville and Waimea easily. The condo was nicely outfitted and comfortable and had everything you could possibly need for a stay in Hawaii. It really helped to make our trip to Kauai special and memorable.

Oceanfront Paradise

You can't get more oceanfront than this!! Sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise and watching the surfers every morning was so peaceful. The beach house is right next door and is our very favorite place to eat. The unit has been very well taken care of and very clean. We would love to rent this unit again in the future.

Ocean Getaway

The view is amazing! We seen sea turtles and surfers every morning from the Lanai! Condo is well equipped. The pictures do not do this place justice! Loved the location! Hope to stay here again.

Just Perfect

My wife and I decided to come to Kauai for our honeymoon. We love to explore and experience as much as we can so we divided our trip into 2 parts. Starting on the south shore and then heading to the north. This property, the south shore and all it had to offer were all perfect. The property itself had an amazing oceanfront view. There were Dolphins, sea turtles, fish, crabs and surfers enjoying the ocean right out front of the condo. We went snorkeling at the beach and there were so many different kinds of fish. The beach house restaurant next to the condo, along with every other restaurant on the south shore, were absolutely phenomenal. There was no shortage of things to do! The hostess was hands down the best hostess that we’ve had the pleasure of staying “with”. She had coolers, towels, snorkels, chairs and everything you needed for a beach day ready to go on site. Any issues we may have been having, she was very quick to respond and help get it figured out. All around we HIGHLY recommend this stay and this hostess . It was PERCECT!

Family Vacation

Condo was really nice inside and well appointed with everything you need to enjoy time inside and all the things you need to go explore the beach (chairs, ice chest, boogie boards). Incredible views and super close to the water! We spent each morning on the incredible balcony drinking coffee, eating breakfast and watching a spectacualr surfing show from the locals! And you can watch giant sea turtles each day right from your own balcony! Close to all the activities too. Loved this place!

Kawai Oceanside

This property was just what we were looking for in a home-base for our first time to Kawai. Access was very easy with stairs just outside the unit entrance that lead down to an adequate-sized parking lot where we were able to park at the bottom of the stairs most of the time. The unit itself is comfortable. There are lots of windows for ventilation and there are lockable privacy screen doors in the master bedroom and in the living room that allow the ocean breezes to flow right through the unit. We also appreciated having air conditioning since we are used to colder temperatures to sleep in. The views were unbeatable. Our eyes were always on the ocean, and on the surfers riding the waves. We were on the lanai first thing in the morning with our coffee and last thing at night before we went to bed. The kitchen worked really well for our family of four and had the basics we needed. We would not hesitate to recommend this unit or stay here again.

a swwimmer's paradise

Excellent swimming and snorkeling outside your door. Beautiful hikes and boogie boarding beaches a short drive away. The view is tremendous especially if you enjoy watching surfers, turtles, sunrises and sunsets. This condo was perfect for us.

AWESOME AMAZING OWNERS!

We love staying at Kuhio Shores due to its location, views and amenities! This was the first time staying in this particular condo, but we have stayed at Kuhio Shores at least 9 times! Susan was amazing from check in to check out, allowing us to change the dates, and stay longer! The condo had absolutely everything we needed and more! If you are debating between condos, this is the best choice!

Great place but a few issues

The location was great and the unit was great. The third and fourth days we were there it rained really hard and water dripped from the ceiling the whole time. It was coming in to the unit above us I think. Also, we had to leave after five nights of our eleven nights due to covid19 and we didn’t get a partial refund or credit, nothing!

Excellent condo, gorgeous views of turtles!

Beautiful 2-bedroom unit. Well appointed furniture with tile throughout. Kitchen nook has windows on both sides, including a rare (for this condo complex) view west, to see the wonderful sunsets. AC in one bedroom only, but the fan in the other bedroom sucked the AC into the room from the living room unit, so it was fine. Local contact very responsive....front door combo lock wasn't working and she came to look at it right away. Kuhio Shores is an absolute find. This is our 5th stay at one of the units here and we will surely be back. It is our fave place to stay in Kauai.

Kuhio Shores

Beautiful spot. Second tier unit with a perfect view of the water. We had four adults in our group and it was just right. Very clean with everything we needed. Hope to go back.

Great location- panoramic ocean view

Great south Kauai location, panoramic views of the ocean from sunrise to sunset. Surfers out front are entertaining. Excellent snorkeling right next-door. Local food trucks and markets, along with restaurants for great eating experiences. Highly recommended and would absolutely love to stay there again. Air conditioning which is a plus but with cross breezes only needed it part time during August stay.

Wonderful stay!

Loved this property and the condo. Watched turtles and surfers from the Lanai right next to the ocean. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Beach gear such as coolers, chairs and umbrella were very much appreciated. Kids loved it here. Definitely would book again!

Everything you need!

We loved staying at this property. The views were amazing. Everything is well-stocked. There are beach towels, chairs and snorkel gear. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Would love to stay here again.
