Making Memories on Watts Bar Lake

This home is where memories are made! Perfect location to enjoy your Tennessee Vols football weekend! Short drive to Neyland Stadium. Hit the game then come play in the water!
This home is beautifully situated in the privacy of the trees surrounded by nature overlooking the lake. The perfect home for every family member from the grandparents to the grand kids! 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, sleeper sofa and roll out beds allow for up to 10 guests to occupy the home! Ya gotta see the downstairs area for the kids of all ages to play! It sports a second kitchen as well as a old school style kids arcade!
Closest boat launch is just around the corner on Caney Creek Road or you could launch and purchase supplies

Guests will have the entire home to enjoy.
A condition of your reservation is that you agree to the terms of the lease agreement. Please review the agreement before booking. A week before arrival a written copy of the lease agreement with house rules will be emailed to our guest. Another copy can be found in the house manual available to reference inside the home.
You must be 25 years of age or older to reserve the home. All guests even children must be included in the occupancy count on the reservation. All pets must be approved and have paid the $250 per pet fee.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Watts Bar 2024 vacation

Large home very roomy overlooking Watts Bar Lake, beautiful view. Quiet neighborhood, lots of deer and a fox were some of the wildlife we saw. Plenty of parking, large kitchen, dining table and family room. Hall bathroom is great other one off the master could use some updates.

Nice little Gem

Slightly outdated but very nice home. Big lot and waterfront. Very close to local ramp, has dock, close to ammenities as well. Very nice place.

Overall very nice and clean place to stay. Scenery was fantastic being tucked off in the trees right off the lake. Grocery stores and food about 10 minutes from property. Communication was horrible but would definitely consider staying again.

Lake front Heaven

Lakefront with dock allowed us to keep our boat in the water overnight. We were given the address and directions ahead of time, the house was clean and in good condition. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and coffee maker. Highly recommend staying here.

What a view!!!

Great place that was everything we needed. We had two bass boats with truck/trailer and were able to swing in and park without unhooking. House was great for us. WiFi worked great if you didn't need to be on a video call (we work on the road). Definitely would stay again.

Great weekend at the lake!

We had a great weekend spent with 3 generations. The kids absolutely loved swimming off the dock during the day and evenings were spent roasting marshmallows over the fire pit or playing in the game room. Adults fished off the dock until the kids joined in. Then it became all about retrieving the lines from the trees...lol The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. Property management was professional and understanding, even joking with us when we locked ourselves out and needed help getting back in. I would totally recommend this location and we plan to return again next year.

Poor communication and poor climate control

The location was great. The house was well kept and clean. Upon arriving the house was stuffy and hot. The HVAC System was set to heat and locked even though the temperature outside was warm. After multiple attempts to contact the property manager I finally got through the next day. The owners control the HVAC system and didn’t turn it until later in the second day of our stay. When they did the HVAC was not working properly and the home was very uncomfortable. I notified the property manager immediately. The property manager finally got back to me a day and a half later after we checked out. I wouldn’t stay there again.

DISAPPOINTING DIRTY

To Whom It May Concern: This letter is concerning my family’s recent stay In Harriman, TN. The stay was at “Making Memories on Watts Bar Lake” 196 Bowers Road, Harriman, TN. Upon our late arrival shortly after dark we could not enter due to dead batteries in the door lock. After some time, our call was answered, and directions were given to the lock box which contained a key. Having to use the bathroom right away, a leaking toilet was discovered, and the floor was wet! A call was placed, and the toilet was repaired the next day. Repaired the toilet but did not put batteries in the door lock? The house was rented understanding that NO PETS yet there was dog hair in the living room and bedroom! Pictures show this. The dishwasher was full of dishes, the drawers in the kitchen were nasty and full of junk. The floors were dirty, and my socks looked terrible in just a short time! The sink in the front bathroom drips continuously. Downstairs has a terrible aroma, sewer or something. The Internet / Wi-Fi service was terrible, little to no service. Having to work while on the road is a necessity and it was advertised to be accessible. Moreover, and having two young boys ages 7 and 9 the graffiti on the front porch concrete was TERRIBLE!! The graffiti on the porch was porn!!

Pros and cons

The house is nice and spacious in a great location, however the thermostat was locked with very poor communication with the owners/management. WiFi was unuseable and cell service poor for both Verizon and att so that made things difficult.

We plan to make staying here a family tradition !

This property is very clean, has everything you need for cooking ! It felt just like home ! And was handicapped accessible for my elderly mom except getting to the dock but not problem getting her on them boat b/c this home is accessible to other public docks. And the grandkids loved the game room ! And do did the adults lol. If you plan to rent a boat..go to Terraceview Marina ..the price is $100 less and you can keep it ALL day....the other places you have to return it by 4 pm .... Its worth the drive to Terraceview !

An amazing getaway!

This place was great! You are literally surrounded in tress, so the privacy and nature are second to none! The sights are beautiful, both on the property and the surrounding area. The lake is wonderful and is fit to fish, swim, kayak, boat, etc. The house worked perfectly for our family of 7 and we could have accommodated a couple more. The only con was, the hill from the house to the lake is quite the workout. The pictures definitely don't do it justice. There is no way our parents (kids grandparents) would have been able to get up and down it. Who am I kidding, we struggled a little lol Overall, this place is truly amazing and our family would definitely go back!

Very nice house on the water. Location is close to town

Communication with the manager wasn’t great. The house and amenities were perfect. Plenty of space, games, and TV’s of the weather is bad. Thermostat is a touch screen and it was locked so we were not able to adjust the temperature in the house. Thank goodness it was a cool weekend cause the heat was locked on at 71. All in all we had a positive trip and would probably stay here again.

Gorgeous

We absolutely loved our stay. We loved waking up to that gorgeous view every morning, and the house was the perfect size for our family. And our kids loved the game room. We would definitely love to stay here again!
