Cozy Cottage is within walking distance to Johnson City Square and the beautiful Christmas light display at the Pedernales Electric Company during the holiday season.
This adorable house was built in 1947 and has all updated amenities. Original hardwood floors throughout the house. Each of the bedrooms have queen beds and have their own well appointed bathrooms. There is a fully stocked kitchen and a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. All toiletries are provided.
When making your reservation, please specify that you are bringing a pet.

Fourth at Cozy Cottage

Cozy Cottage is a wonderful place to spend time exploring the region. It’s close to everything and easy to get to after a day on the wine trail. The local restaurants are within walking distance and the neighborhood is very quiet. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We hope to return soon.

X-Mas Stay

This property was great! We visited during Christmas and got to enjoy all the lights and Christmas joy of Johnson City. Home was very clean and had a lot of little extras in case you forgot something at home. You don’t normally see that type of detail to making sure guests enjoy their stay. I would definitely stay at the location again.

A Gem in Johnson City

The best VRBO we have stayed in so far. Truly a “cozy cottage”. We were so impressed with all the amenities and the cleanliness of the property. The neighborhood is so quiet. The convenience to the wineries was a big plus. Sandi and Craig are great and so gracious. Always quick to respond.

Perfect getaway

The property and the long weekend could not have been better. Everything needed from the kitchen to toiletries were provided and more. Had a great time at the Wineries, Pedernales Falls State Park, and local shops too.

Beautiful Hill Country Get-Away

My husband, I, and another friend couple stayed in this beautiful 2 bedroom/2 bath home located just blocks off of 290 for a weekend getaway. We went walking and exploring one day and found that we were close to LBJ's family home and a National Park with a walking trail. Husbands had several golf courses to choose from in close driving distance. Wineries and eateries were all very close. Will definitely recommend this home to others and will stay again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful home!

In town for a birthday party at a winery. Great location to sooo many wineries. This house was so well stocked. I have never experienced a rental home stocked like someone is actually going to live there. Would definitely rent again.

Amazingly stocked house and porch!

I loved all the little details of this property. There was a huge coffee selection which is one of my favorite things and made my heart happy! The pots and pans were new and easy to cook with. Typically rentals have pans that are all scratched since no one cares for them properly when renting. But these were great. There were all the toiletries you'd need if case you forgot something. The property was pet friendly and even had food and water bowl set out if needed. I chose the property for pet friendly in case I brought one of the dogs in my care so this would have been great with fenced yard and huge porch if I'd done so. The property owner was quick with reply to any of my questions. We will definitely be back!

Perfect weekend getaway for dog parents

The yard is fully enclosed and plenty of comfortable furniture to sit outside and enjoy the quiet street. We had fun walking to the restaurants through the neighborhood. The house is lovely and cozy. We’d recommend staying here for sure and hope to return soon.

Cozy, quiet and lovely!

Was really great! We had everything we needed anymore. The location is very quiet, and the house and yard were perfect for us and our two dogs. All the little touches inside made it really easy to relax and enjoy Johnson City, and. Will definitely back. The host was very responsive and made sure everything was just right.

Great property and great host

We had a great time in Johnson City as it is so central to many excursions in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. The host and the house were a perfect fit for our long weekend getaway. Our small dog enjoyed the stay as well. The house was really clean, well stocked and organized and wifi and media worked great. we will go back!

Ideal cottage getaway

The property is very well maintained, and beautifully recently updated. If that wasn't enough, the amenities were VERY nicely stocked. The hosts thought of perfectly everything! I would highlight the gorgeous oversized deck was ideal for morning coffee, and evening cocktails to watch the sunset and catch a glimpse of deer in the park across the street. I would absolutely recommend and stay again! It was a perfect weekend getaway for two couples, and a short drive to the area wineries.

Perfect home base for our 2 & 4 legged family!

The hubby & I traveled with our best couple friends & our English Labrador Haven for a long weekend of picking up wine club shipments, relaxing & catching up. I was very concerned that I’d have trouble finding accommodations for our pup, but Sandi was very informative & answered ever question I had promptly. The yard is very dog friendly & safe. The fire pit area was perfect for watching the deer graze just across the street from the backyard. Sandi truly outdid herself in thoughtfulness, because we found the kitchen stocked with any appliance we might’ve needed. The house was super clean and tidy, the beds were comfy & we were definitely able to recharge our batteries! Thank you for opening your home to us & we will try to stay here again in the future when we are in the Stonewall/Johnson City area.

This location was beautiful! The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and the bathrooms and bedrooms were gorgeous. It felt like howe away from home!

Fantastic Hill Country comfortable get away!

This home is clean, bright, newly redone, and so comfortable! Close to all the wineries and vineyards along Hwy 290, and short drive to Fredricksburg shops, restaurants and museums and nearby LBJ State Park. Large deck with outdoor eating area, fenced yard and firepit. Coffee lovers---you are set in this home---you don't need to bring a thing! Highly recommend this cozy home if you are staying in the Hill Country. Owners are terrific, very responsive.

WARM COZY COTTAGE ❤️

It has been a pleasure staying at Cozy Cottage!! As we were in the process of closing on a house that got held up and we needed a place to stay. Cozy Cottage has been our comfortable home for over a week. It was a perfect stop over for us and our pets until our house was ready. Not to mention this is all during the most historic winter event in Texas!! **With an incredible helpful and responsive host!!** Cozy Cottage definitely stood up to it's name❤️ and provided us a cozy, clean and comfortable home when we needed it the most. We will be recommending this place to family and friends and will definitely be coming back for a weekend getaway!! *Great walking/driving distance to nearby shops and restaurants*

This home is in a wonderful central location. We are in close proximity to hundreds of wineries, LBJ State Park, peach orchards in peach season and a short drive to Fredericksburg. There are also museums to visit, lakes and rivers, fantastic places to explore and hike. Oh, and not to mention all the good Tex Mex food you will experience while here! There is a never ending list of places to go and things to see!

.This property is very comfortable and very enjoyable to be around. All the comforts of home! Its an old house (1947) with new insides. The original hardwood floors are beautiful. The kitchen is fully stocked, with the exception of food. Two beautifully appointed bathrooms, 2 queen beds that are very comfortable with very nice linens.
There is a 400 sq ft deck with an outdoor eating area. The barbeque grill, and firepit are sure to be enjoyed by all who visit Cozy Cottage. The guests that stay here rave about our sunset views from the deck. It will be an extra treat to sit out there in the morning to have your coffee or in the evening to have a drink and relax and wind down while you watch the sunset.
This home is equipped with most anything you could want or need in a house. We hope you enjoy your stay here!
